Can’t rave enough about how good the food is!!! I am gluten free and have thus far loved everything I’ve tried. I was also told tonight that they will be switching some things up and making a couple of their (currently) non-gf items gf very soon. The staff, service and atmosphere are awesome as well. I’d most definitely recommend this place!

Great place, tasty food and excellent service! Our server really helped us pick from the vast beer choices and directed us to wonderful meal options. We will definitely go back. I'm happy the Upper Valley has another cool restaurant option to choose from.

Super excited to have this place local! Atmosphere is stellar, food Delish! Great job Topher! Proud of you! Best of luck! The popcorn was a great fun different starter all the way thru with ending in churros and a spicy chocolate sauce !

I love it here! Topher has created the perfect blend of West and East coast, bringing tasty tacos and other fab foods our way. His beer list can't be beaten, and, for someone like me, I really appreciate that he is always looking for the next gluten-free beer that's BETTER.

Always been a fan of this place. Glad to see they changed up their menu a bit (love the new popcorn seasoning). Service was great (Jonathan makes very tasty drinks); a bit of a wait due to demand. Highly recommend duck wings and nachos as well as local river roost beer and their watermelon margaritas.

Trail Break Taps + Tacos is awesome!! Definitely one of the best restaurants in this whole area of Vermont and New Hampshire. This is the most Vermont-themed restaurant I’ve ever been to. When you walk inside you feel like you’ve transported to a lunch shack at a ski resort! There are chairs from chair lifts everywhere, trail signs, and other ski decorations everywhere. However, it doesn’t have just good decorations - the food here is excellent! Think of it as new age Mexican/American fusion. There are very unique appetizers, tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and many other foods that will satisfy everyone. Lots of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options available!! We got several different things, including the duck wings, many different types of street tacos, and a burrito! Instead of a traditional Mexican restaurant that brings chips and salsa to your table, they bring popcorn with their own homemade jerk seasoning, which is surprisingly good! We all really liked it! Definitely try some of their seafood and meet tacos, and BE SURE to try their fried plantains with maple sambal! Best plantains I’ve ever had! This is a really good place and we will definitely be back next time we’re in White River Junction! One note - this place gets REALLY busy. Be prepared to wait if you’re getting here at a good time, or reserve a table online!! I highly recommend it!

The vegan burrito was really good, just needed some hot sauce to really complete it. Our bartender, Belle, was kind and helpful! Really can’t say enough good about this place. The beer and ciders were delicious, the vegan option was filling (and existed lol), and the atmosphere was fun and welcoming.

There aren’t enough words to describe how incredible an experience we shared with Trail Break wedding catering. Topher and his team were by far on top of their game from the first day I contacted them. Super responsive, and very accommodative as well. Topher helped us plan the food and beverage menu and work thru details and changes, as they presented themselves. During the wedding we had a pretty steady unrelenting rain. And the crew went above and beyond to make sure our guests had the protection they needed. And everyone maintained a positive attitude the entire time. The food was SO good. Ahead of the wedding, we had driven to Trail Breaks’ restaurant in White River Junction. Having only found them online, we decided to make the 3h trip to try the offerings. Options were many and it was hard to decide what to try. But Topher was on site that day, and made recommendations and presented a wonderful spread. The feedback we received from guests was super positive all the way around. *Muah! Chefs kiss, seriously. We were impressed and enjoyed leftovers for many days because hey, there’s no such thing as too much Mexican, there just isn’t. Very excited to visit Trail Break at their new location in the spring/summer of 2024!

Pretty solid Mexican food and lots of vegetarian options. We particularly enjoyed the starters - the elote (street corn) and maple plantains were great! The jackfruit tacos are pretty good too, although they could be a bit more seasoned, but I was very happy to see that option on the menu. Great drinks selections as well, cool ski themed decor, and can’t fail to mention their spiced popcorn which is a great snack.

Great place with a nice spin on a friendly, free snack at your table when you arrive. The place comes with creative names for their tacos. Would definitely recommend the shrimp here. Trail Break is located within a quaint, picturesque part of White River Junction. The entire experience is worth a visit; go check it out!
