My friends and I were looking for a small family owned place and spotted this place from the road...let me tell you it's just a great little place that serves amazing food and has the charm of an early American residence. We were all very impressed in every way. I will make it a point to stop by again....no doubt. Do yourself a favor and have dinner here....and dessert!

Pandl's hasn't changed much since I remember it in the 1970's, which is a good thing. Their whitefish is always fresh and I also like their Beef Roulden. It is nice not to have to drive across town (or out of town) to enjoy traditional German cuisine. I especially like going to Pandl's for Saturday lunch/early dinner. The dining room is not overly busy at that time so it is possible to have a nice relaxing meal where you are not rushed. There is enough variety on the menu so that most people will find something they like. It is one of the few North Shore restaurants that serves duck.

This was our second time in. We were in a few weeks ago with some out of town family and had a great experience so we came back again! Our first time we just sat at the bar and had drinks. The bar tender was very nice and they kept bring us snacks to try, we didn’t even order them! We had such a great time we went back tonight to try out dinner. I had the cod fish fry and wow it was very very good! I’m not even a tartar sauce fan and their tartar sauce was amazing!!!! My husband had the Jagerschnitzel and he was very impressed with it. We lived in Germany for about 10 years and we’ve had a hard time finding a place with legit schnitzel and we have found it now!!! Service was fantastic even for a really busy night. We will defiantly be regulars.

Why it took us this long to eat at this exemplary establishment followed by exemplary service beginning with the hostesses and our server, Miss Amanda, is no longer a mystery! We definitely shall return! The Schnitzel's, delish and so is the spinach quiche.

It is the best 102 year old restaurant in Whitefish Bay and all of Milwaukee. Good German food and other. You must try their German Pancake *****.

Awesome fish fry with the best clam chowder soup I've ever had. Everything from the rye roll to the potato pancakes were delicious. Perfect location with an old school supper club feel.

We were driving back home from the UP and decided to have an early dinner somewhere not far from the I-94 expressway so my wife picked this place. We had the best food we could imagine. I had the deep fried lake perch and she had the baked whitefish. Both were outstanding, they really know how to prepare them. Highly recommend!

Great food! Great staff! We enjoyed our dinner here and the staff were accommodating to us sitting outside in freezing weather with their heaters. We got the duck and the lamb, both were excellent. The sausage platter was also good. Best of luck to them!

Pandl’s is a Shorewood treasure that has been around for many years. It’s not fancy but more nostalgic. You feel like you’ve stepped back into time and it allows you to get a feel of bygone eras. The food is excellent and the servers are extremely on point and pay attention to detail. Simply marvelous

My sister treated me for my birthday lunch. They are definitely accommodating the pandemic in the safest ways possible. Our server and waitress were both so kind and fun! I had shrimp scampi and it was so light, but full of flavor and absolutely delicious! My sister had a schnitzel dish that was also fantastic. Love it here.

This was our first time here. We had the sampler platter app, creamy chicken soup, beef vegetable soup, Pandl's Famous German Pancake, Beef Rouladen, Apple Strudel and Strawberry Schaum Torte. Everything was delicious to excellent. Service seemed a little slow to us, but probably perfect for this type of restaurant. Carmen our waitress was an absolute delite. Seemed genuinely glad to have us there and truly proud of Pandl's and its history.

Excellent Friday fish fry, possibly my favorite in town, and that's saying alot in Milwaukee! The environment can't be beat, with gorgeous outdoor seating, weather permitting. Reservations needed most of the time. Upscale dining, perfect for date night or entertaining business clients. Elegant north shore location. We'll be back!
