Had an amazing breakfast here! It's in a neat area in Whittier. My mom and I split a goat cheese crepe with chicken sausage, mushrooms, peppers, and onions, and it was so flavorful. There was plenty for the both of us. I also had a rose latte, which had a great balance of flavors. The service was friendly and our food arrived quickly.

Picture of an untouched “omelette.” Eggs were soggy and gross. All this after waiting 1/2 hour to sit, then another 30 minutes for the food to arrive. Looks like it was made in 2 minutes. Never again with this place.

I had the Shrimp and Grits and sadly, I wasn’t impressed. I usually get the salmon salad and thought I’d try something new and I regret it. I’ve had this dish at other restaurants, where the grits is in the bowl and the shrimp is poured on the top. 1) the serving of the grits was for the birds 👎🏼 and I’ve never had this dish served with vegetables. Although the waitress was nice, so I give the dish a 👎🏼, but the service was 👍🏼👍🏼. Oh and sit outside, it was sooooo HOT inside.

First time going and I expected better service because of the reviews. Waited to be seated which was not that long of a wait. After being seated, nobody took our order till like 30 min after we had been seated. I’ve worked in the food industry before so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Sadly I was mistaken. Food took another 45 just to come out, server never came to check on us after the food was brought to our table. It’s like if we were invisible. One of the orders my wife had ordered never came. She had the appetizer thinking her food would be brought out afterwards but it never came. We ended up deciding to cancel the item and get the check and leave. That took another 15 min never received check had to ask someone else for my card because I got tired of waiting to receive my card back. The only thing I enjoyed was the prepackaged crackers.

For the past seven years I have been coming to this restaurant and have NEVER been treated like such while visiting. Today August 12th I decided to visit, to start off The Hostess who very kindly seated me and served me, thank you for your professionalism. After being seated, the only waiter serving the tables outside whom just so happens to be my ex-boyfriend refused to serve me, leaving me unattended until the hostess showed up and brought me a menu, THE HOSTESS who is not a server was attending me, clearly because this is not her job I waited a while for my order to be taken, Yet alone 30 min wait for an Egg Croissant with potatoes and fruit. There were only 4 tables being served, me being completely alone was the last person that was served her food. This is disappointing! I’ve always had a lot of respect for this restaurant because even though their service may be very limited at times, every waiter/waitress has always been very welcoming and attentive, this was not my case and due to the fact that I was left unattended for so long I ended up asking the very unprofessional waiter for my check and he very rudely said yes. The lack of professionalism really upset me, I still tipped the hostess and was very respectful, this created a hostile environment and ruined my experience here, even though the food was delicious always I wish the service could have been more welcoming and less hostile.

My 1st time here & I totally recommend the French toast croissant "pancakes." They were SO yummy! I ended my meal with a banberry, nutella crepe! The menu contains so much good stuff, it makes it hard to decide what to order! I'm definitely coming back to try something new!

Nice local place, but reminded me of Eze near Marseille. Good variety of both sweet and savory menu options and plenty of other brunch items. Just pricey enough to reserve this as a place for special occasions.

Ordered mimosas and cheese, got a mimosa, the cheese came after the meal came out, well half our meal. They forgot Abby's food, then brought it out wrong. When the waiter brought her plate he put it in my hand while I was trying to take a bite of food. Then when we asked for utensils he put four butter knives in my hand and asked if he was forgetting anything?? Yeah dude, seems like your forgetting how to do your job

The food is spectacular and the service is incredible. The Salmon is a standard bearer. This is a gem nestled away in little Whittier. For a 5 star experience at an affordable price, give Crepes & Grapes Cafe a try. Treat yourself - you deserve it!

This place it's a hit or miss on the food, the chile verde crape was delicious, but the red chilaquiles were awful!! Also they need to hire better waiters, they take forever to take your order.

This was my first and probably last visit. I mean the atmosphere is great but with the exception of the crepes, food wasn't that great and it's extremely expensive. I had the steak and half of it was all fat. I wanted to return it but I just dealt with it. Spent close to $60! The waiter was extremely nice but he looked overworked. He did apologize for not topping off on coffee and water.

I love the new menu items. The chilaquiles and the Eggs Benedict are delicious. For Egg Benedicy, they use prosciutto intead of canadian bacon and french baguette instead of english muffins. Their dishes have a great twist.

I have had a few of the different crape dishes that are offered here and they are all excellent. Have not been here in a while so I had to go back this past weekend and had the crape wrap and it was amazing. I love this place! the food is excellent and the service is always great. keep up the great work.

They overcharged me and refused to fix it.. Food was decent. Nothing special, but not bad. Just right for a mid-day lunch. Large OJ was actually large, so that was a delight. Service was awful though. Our server Justin was just slow and neglectful throughout the entire dining experience. And he wasn't busy because the rest of the restaurant wasn't either. So that isn't a valid excuse. It took forever after dining to wait for the bill. We had to call them with our phones for them to send someone out, because no one checked on us for over 25 minutes. I was in such a hurry, I just asked to the bill, and gave them my credit card from the table and said "here, take it" essentially. He came back with it, I signed it, we left in a hurry. But when I saw my statement, I wondered why a brunch for 2 was more than $50! They over charged my bill. They tacked on a 3rd entree for a party of two. When I emailed them, they (person's name who responded was Chele) acknowledged that they added a 3rd entree, but that they refused to adjust the balance and credit me for the wrong entree. So they are basically thieves because they snuck that charge on to me. They probably stuck it on the other table where it belonged to. Or who knows, they may do this to many people! It was their mistake, and I have to pay an extra $15 for their NEGLIGENCE. That is AWFUL service. Shame on Crepes & Grapes. You've lost a potentially regular patron and gained a vocal opponent on social media. So if you go, EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK. And I am now paranoid, because it's ridiculous that in order to ensure I am charged for what I ordered, I actually have to verify that the employees of the restaurant actually did their job? WTF is that? I wish I was a mystery shopper that time. Shame on Justin. Shame on Chele. Shame on management of Crepes & Grapes. Your deceitful restaurant doesn't deserve to stay in business.

In town for business for the day. Had the Mushroom crepe for breakfast and it was good. Service just ok, server, dropped my food off and never checked back. Worth trying for sure.

Do not waste your $$ and time. I come from an European country where we eat crepes for breakfast, lunch, and supper. There's almost no woman that is unable to make crepes there in my country. It is as easy as making pancakes. I was doing some business in Whittier and brought a friend from my country with me. We were walking downtown looking for a place to have brunch when we saw Crepes and Grapes and got really excited. What a BIG disappointment though…!!! The crepes were made sometime in the past and refrigerated. The "chef" did not even bother to throw them in the microwave and fool us that they were just made. When we returned them and wanted fresh and warm crepes the waitress showed very nasty attitude and brought again refrigerated cold crepes probably with a spit in it. We wanted to return those too and leave without paying as we did not get what we wanted and did not eat anything. The waitress said that she can take only 20% of the whole order, the first and the second, which was $27 each and that's it. I wanted to talk to the owner and she denied to call him (the manager conveniently was not there and she was the manager for the time). She denied giving us her name but I heard her speaking in Spanish with somebody in the kitchen. So, the French Café is as French as I am the Queen of England. I called the police and asked them to come and help us resolve the problem. The police denied to come and said that we should pay and then sue the cafe in a small claim court for $52. We paid and left hungry, humiliated, and angry. I still keep the receipt for $52 for a meal that I didn't eat. I have never had worse experience with a restaurant in my life. I have worked and lived in 4 different countries and haven't seen worse service. DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$ FOR THESE CREPES. Just know that once you have the crepes mix ready, you make a crepe for seconds. You can refrigerate the mix but not the crepe ones it is ready if you want to run a respected restaurant. And, please train your stuff to be nice and polite. A respected restaurant would never let a client to pay for obviously bad food. What is 4 crappy crepes comparing to a good name!!!!????

Tasty Crepes. Crepes and Grapes offers savory and sweet crepes as well as paninis. They have a yummy looking breakfast menu too, but they only serve that until noon and seeing how it was after 8:00 p.m. I knew that trying a breakfast crepe would have to come with another visit. So since we wanted to try both a savory and a sweet crepe, we decided to share one of each. We agreed on doing a create your own for each. We began with a bacon, feta, mushroom, and spinach crepe with a creamy white sauce on the house crepe. It could have used more mushrooms and feta, but there was plenty of smoked flavored bacon in the crepe. It was definitely yummy. I could have eaten a whole one by myself. But, there was a dessert crepe on the way, so I wanted to save some room for that. We ordered another create your own crepe. We agreed on the mixed berries, bananas, and pecans with a sweet vanilla sauce on the house crepe. So, when our crepe arrived, there was plenty of berry juice on the plate with lightly sprinkled powdered sugar. As we began eating the crepe, however, we noticed that our crepe seemed to be lacking the pecans but that there were pears instead. By this point it was a little late in returning the crepe. So we just ate it. The sweet crepe was good too, but I never really noticed the sweet vanilla sauce. I felt that the cafe could have added more sauce for extra flavor. A good tip when ordering the lemonade here. If you get the strawberry lemonade, they actually have sliced strawberries floating in it. The iced tea tasted freshly brewed too. Overall I was satisfied with the food. It was all very tasty. I only have two complaints. The service was really slow. I think they could have used a fourth wait person that evening. I was surprised at the number of tables filled in the cafe at the time I was there. My other complaint is that I think because our waiter was slightly distracted with the number of tables he was waiting, he didn't pay too close attention to our dessert order. Plus, it took him a bit before he had even come back to take our order to begin with. Our waiter even had delayed in placing our order so we were sitting there for a while wondering if we would be getting our drinks soon. He apologized, saying there was something about an angry customer that had delayed him. He did seem appreciative of our patience and tried to get our repeat service by suggesting coming back on Thursday before 5 to eat dinner there. Because on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights they have live acoustic guitar entertainmers performing. I'll probably go back again, but will try to avoid the rush next time. I'm anxious to try their breakfast menu.
