Food is also very good!! Bartender knows his stuff!!! We have been before and will continue to return. The small setting brings a nice touch of intimacy to the place!!! Great place for a first date!!!
Have lived in Whittier for 13 years now and literally just found the Vintage Cafe this evening for the first time. What a find. Atmosphere is great. The food was unique and delicious, and our waiter, Scott, was a delight. A great "new" place that apparently has been under our noses for years.

Really enjoyed the food and service at this place. The Blue Cheese Pear Salad was very tasty. We shared the Truffle Mac and Cheese (enough to take some home). Daughter had the Chicken Breast Sandwich with a very good fruit bowl. Topped it off with Bread Pudding Ala Mode!
Spicy mango martini is like no other! It’s delicious. Had the salmon and hubby had Chilean sea bass. Both meals were amazing. Good beer selection too! They had a cherry “something” sour beer and it was very tasty.

The best Old Fashioned I've ever had! The martinis are excellent, too. We didn't have dinner but will do so soon.

The spicy mango martini is my favorite! Must have at least two. The sea bass and the filet mignon are my preferred meals. Can’t go wrong with either. The service is always great. Can’t wait to go back again.

Hidden American/French Gem. Vintage Cafe is exactly what Uptown Whittier needed. A gorgeous retro style restaurant open for lunch & dinner with indescribably delicious food. The pasta with tiger prawns in garlic cream is one of my favorites. For dessert the fresh baked French Apple Tart: ADDICTING!!!

Restaurant had been open for five weeks and in some ways it showed. The server was still learning her job and the menu was still being tweaked. But the food rocked. The atmosphere was very good. We will be coming back for more good food.

Whoever knew there was a Parisian style cafe in the middle of uptown? Phlight may be Bright Ave's jewel but Vintage Cafe is a real hidden gem. Apparently this place has been around for 7 years but a lot of people probably stroll past every day and never know what they've missed. Its an intimate little space with amazing food and cocktails. Using the word Romantic to describe this place is an understatement.This is a perfect casual date night or imtimate setting to catch up with friends. The bar takes up a huge amount of real estate but deservedly so because the cocktails are absolutely amazing. Pick any one out of their long list of well made craft cocktails and you will not be disappointed. Their Moscow mule is one of the best I've ever had. And best of all, they have the absolute best happy hour hours I've ever come in contact with. 5p-8p on a Saturday? Yes please. Not to mention every other day of the week. I could binge on discount blue cheese sliders and whiskey smashes every day
I like the food here. We usually order the special of the day and it's always fresh and prepared well. The service is always good. It's a nice place to go for a cocktail after work as well.
This is a very elegant yet cozy place. Food was absolutely delicious. Our waiter Efrain was awesome too. We will definitely come back next time we are in town.
Love to come here.. But sometimes the steak is inconsistent and a lil on the tough side.. Drinks are good and small selection of craft brew.. Decor is nice and the staff are equally nice. Try the jalapeño burger.. So good
