You must try the shrimp tacos! They were fantastic! The tortilla was even great! I did try the oysters since I’m a huge fan of them. $2.25 each which wasn’t bad at all!

Hands-down, without a doubt, the best shrimp nachos in uptown Whittier. What a beautiful display of simple and fresh ingredients with just the right amount of shrimp, queso, crema, Pico de gallo, guac and crunchy tortilla chips.

I went there not knowing what exactly to order, I saw they had Mushroom Tacos, OMG!!!! Absolutely Delish. Let's not forget the beer mmmmmm I think it's my New weekend spot in my hometown 😀.

Service was amazing. The servers were all very friendly and very attentive to the customers. We had the pork belly tacos and the surf n turf tacos and they were delicious. Very cool spot. Music was good, 90s rap\hip hop. Plenty of TVs. Mostly IPA brews. I had the American Red and tri-tip sliders. Both very tasty.
EVERY SINGLE TACO DRIPPED FLAVOR. Had one of each on the menu. Worth the price for each of them. Thank you to Dani who was the young man to attend to us, he was friendly and deserves Well given gratuity. Good vibes only at the Commoner. Was there for the first time this weekend and I must say I was pretty impressed with the food and service. The two gals that were there were nice and attentive. What I liked about there food menu was the fact that the menu was not cluttered with tons of food on it. It was simple and and easy to read
