Slow service. Spent most of my lunch hour waiting on someone to take my order and then get food. Only had a few minutes to eat after it finally got to the table. Prices too high for quality of food. Place has gone from quaint to run down. When I got my food it tasted fine. Don't think I'm going back

It has been a while since I have been to Gene's. Wasn't disappointed. The "Frisco Burger" and fries hit the spot.

Overpriced for what you get, the dining room is uncomfortably hot, and everything needs to be cleaned. My food tasted fine, but I was charged $8.23 for a "large" single patty hamburger that was actually very small.

Gene's Tasty Burger is the definition of a "Hole in the Wall Treasure". I consider myself a burger connoisseur and this place just might take the gold medal. In my humble opinion, it is without the a doubt the BEST burger I've had in Wichita Falls and definitely in the Top 5 Best Burgers in Texas. W

Food was good but being charged over $16 for a double when I ordered a triple blows. Even when the cook was ensured it was the triple. Lesson learned!
