Initiated my wife to the experience of S&S Saturday prior to the p!nk concert and it didn’t disappoint as usual. She had: spinach salad and the special which was a swordfish and scallop dish that she said was wonderful and it all definitely looked good! I can’t pass up the crock of French onion soup and added the wedge with blue cheese, spectacular! I had the prime tomahawk bone in ribeye, medium rare, fantastic! Great sear on the meat and impressive 2’ bone hanging off the plate impressed me and most the others in the restaurant! Our waitress was friendly, professional and my wife said she is now a believer!
My steak, a rib eye, could not have been any better, perfectly grilled with delicious flavor!!!
Once a year for the past 12 years as Wichita is a stopover on our annual road trip (Minneapolis to Phoenix this year). Exceptional service. Memorable meals. THE go to place in Wichita. Period.
Side note; After a delicious filet minon dinner, and with a glass of Cabernet left to finish, we suggested to our waitress (Katie) that some dark chocolate would be nice with the wine. And although dark chocolate is not found on the menu, she agreed and asked us to give her a minute. Shortly she returned with a small cup of grated dark chocolate with a smile and a wink!

Had a really nice dinner tonight. My steak was cooked the way I asked, the cottage potatoes were delicious and our server was very sweet. Loved the bacon, crab-stuffed shrimp.
