Great atmosphere and great service! This was our first time here, as we don't come to Jersey often, so the complimentary bread and salad was very nice and unexpected! Coconut shrimp appetizer was delicious, but you only get 4 shrimp, which seemed a little steep, even for a seafood restaurant. My mom got the fried platter, and boy was it fried - definitely seemed like they needed to change their oil out. I got the scallops Chesapeake, and they were very watery, decent flavor, but definitely not the best I've had. Overall, we had a good experience but would probably try out a different restaurant next time we visit.
Enjoyed a savory seafood meal at the shore. Isn't that what you are supposed to do? The Boathouse Restaurant didn't disappoint. Carly, our server was absolutely wonderful. How she tolerated us dropping everything (knife,bread) I'll never know. She helped put our dining experience over the top. We were kindly seated in a shaded portion of the patio with a nice view of the marina. Our appetizer of coconut shrimp appeared instantly. Hold on did I mention the sunset specials? Many meals were priced at $20. The broiled scallops I ordered were cooked to perfection. Not rubbery, nor mushy. They swam in a shallow pool of garlicky melted butter with a wedge of lemon on the side. Thank you chef! I hate when the flavor of the meal is overridden by something else. The lemon paired well with the crispy green beans on the side. The cole slaw was good also ,but a slight bit sweet for me. Thank you again Carly! I'm sure we will dine here again. Atmosphere was very nice. Perfecting setting with a deck that you can dine on which overlooks the water. Our food was phenomenon. Tried the broiled seafood sampler. Scallops were to die for. Highly recommended coming here for a delicious lunch/dinner for a very reasonable price.
The wait was only 15-20 minutes on Thursday June 29th at dinner time. All the food was wonderful! The portions were larger than expected which made the prices amazing! The view and atmosphere were beautiful and family friendly. Our waitress Crystal, was so sweet and attentive. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Wildwood!
Came here on a family vacation dinner and the food was fantastic. Pricey but you get what you pay for. Specials were decent priced. You won’t be disappointed with the quality of the food. The views from the upstairs are amazing.

Wonderful meal at the boathouse we sat outside overlooking the water and it was just such a great environment. Fresh seafood options and free salad and bread with each entree. Service was super nice and helpful. Felt like a tropical vacation not Nj! Will be back!
Excellent service and food! Nick was our server and he was fast and very attentive. We had no wait but also got there around 4pm. I ordered the Maryland style crab cakes and my husband ordered the 12oz Sirloin. The steak was cooked perfectly and my husband hates seafood and was skeptical of ordering a steak from a seafood restaurant. My crabcakes were awesome, I would've preferred the lump meat over shredded but it tasted so good and had more meat than breading and I will definitely be back for more. It's pricey, but average for a tourist place and you get full! Salad and bread to start then your entrée and 2 sides.
The service was really good . The coconut shrimp was just fried shrimp . The scallops and flounder were really good .
Came here for Father’s day with my wife. It was a pleasant experience. I enjoyed my dish. Also loved the cheesecake as well ( see the attached). Thank you for a wonderful time

A year later and were back! Food was great our server Shawn was super nice very attentive! No wait today, we ate on the back deck this time. Still a little pricey, but still worth it! We has the scallops rumaki, firecracker shrimp, maryland crabcake, the salmon with blueberry vinaigrette. Very good!

We love the Boat House Restaurant. We had dinner on Friday. My wife ordered the Fried Flounder and I ordered the Chicken Parmesan entree. The entree came with a salad with house dressing. The salad was fresh and the dressing was delicious. My wife said the Flounder was good and I enjoyed the Chicken Parmesan. It took about 15 minutes to be seated. Our waitress was pleasant and helpful. She was quick to refill our drinks. We sat inside with the view of the marina. Overall it was a really pleasant experience. Also, no one laughed too hard when I got my photo with the wooden sailor on the way out.

Food was delicious! The shrimp was very fresh, but I didn't care for the scampi sauce. The salad was mixed greens, but wasn't too bad. The fried mozzarella was yummy.
Great place! Excellent service from the time we sat down to the time we got the check. Everything was exceptional.. our waitress, her service, our adult beverages and especially our food. We got the clams casino appetizer and the sunset specials of the shrimp scampi that came with a garden salad. Everything was fresh, yummy and plentiful. Even the bathrooms were clean and offered paper towels. Would definitely enjoy going back!
Three of us decided to stop by the Boathouse fir dinner. Appetizers included Fried Calamari, Shrimp Cocktail and Ahi Tuna. Always wanted to try Ahi so I gave it a chance. Not sure what I thought of it, another guest with our party tried a piece and said it was plain. I'll give it another try at another place. The shrimp and calamari appetizers were good.
The dinners included the Day Boat Scallops, Stuffed Flounder and Fresh Fried Shrimp with a side Crab Cake. All of the dinners were good resulting in two clean plates and one little take home of fries and scallops.
Service was great as was our server Olivia. I now know why this place is always packed in-season.
