I had some curry over in Asia this past summer that blew my mind. This place was right up there with it. The naan bread was a revelation, the curry had danced different flavors on my tongue throughout the meal, and the rice that was milled from the fields of Shangri La brought it all together. I also had some chai tea that hit my lips and gave me new life - that feeling when you finally drink some water after a 3 day long bender feeling. This place is awesome.

First time there last night. Greeted by friendly staff. Clean. Kavita, was very helpful in helping us choose our dinner. First out- The Mango Lassi drink.....fantastic! Bread and dipping sauces- excellent! Butter chicken-outstanding! Variety platter of lamb, chicken, and shrimp-incredible! An array of colors, spices and flavors that opened my palate to a new world of deliciousness!! I highly recommend this restaurant! Can't wait to go back and try something else! Plus...ample portions..I have enough leftovers for lunch today! So glad we tried it!!

Letts Eat is by far my favourite place to eat out in Wilkes Barre. Pro tip: they have chana masala but it's not on the menu- very good vegan option. Hopefully one day they will incorporate even more vegan options, including bread!

Review based on takeout(s) experience: A hit or miss place Chole batura-Yum Mango lassi - Comes in a gigantic cup and a must-try Egg biryani - so-so Lemon rice - Okayish Veggie pakoda - Average They put a lot of food coloring in their food lol. Price: $$$ Verdict: I'd keep ordering from them but only selective dishes.

Great Indian food. Loved the garlic naan and how they served the rice and stew in nice dishes. The portion is also big. The shrimp stew I had was very tasty. Well done!

We were on our way back home after the long weekend holidays and found this place by accident. We were glad we did. We had a lunch buffet. The food on the buffet was on a milder side considering it also caters to local tastes. But make no mistake. It was still yum. The curries were great, the chutneys were spot on and the nans were hot and soft. The ambience was spot on.Not too simple neither too flashy. The owner and the staff were welcoming. A must stop if you are nearby.

The best place in town. Food is amazing, staff is great, they have live music sometimes which is also a bonus. I returned in the springtime to find that a dessert was no longer on the menu for the season and they went to the back, and whipped it up right away for me anyway. It was amazing. Some pink flower tasting milkshake. Youve got to try it. You'll love it. I've got no complaints whatsoever! :)

I love eating at Letts Eat. One of my friends introduced me to it while I was going to college in that area and I've been going there ever since. For someone who did not have a lot of exposure to different kinds of foods as a child this is a great place for an introduction. The common misconception people have about Indian Food is that it is so spicy, but Letts Eat has milder options and they are all wonderful. I have yet to have something I did not like there in 4 years.

Great service and food was delicious. If this is your first try at Indian cuisine, ease into the spiciest version (unlike me) as it's a very different spicy compared to other cuisine. Very good and flavourful though, and I will definitely come back.

This was our first time eating here and we absolutely loved it! The food was delicious and the service was beyond perfect. We came from Jersey to watch a show and we couldn't have picked a better place to eat Indian food. Definitely a must try!

This place is the best place to eat!! The staff is amazing, attentive and very courteous. The food is out of this world! Filled with so much flavor.. when you visit you must try their cheesy garlic naan!! First place I have ever seen this unique special made bread.. definitely worth the trip!!! Thank you!

Lunch buffet was very good. I found a new delight for my Ciliacs diet. A lentils and potato cake called "Dosa" 🙃😁 very yummy. The music set such a relaxing afternoon mood. It wasn't over crowded but was busy enough to be sure it was a decent place upon entering and we weren't disappointed.

Thorough COVID safety measures. Food was very flavorful and spicy. We ordered medium and spicy dishes and they were too spicy for us. Will order mild next time. For two people, we shared two entrees (rice included) plus naan, and we had enough leftovers for another full meal each.

I absolutely love this place. I've loved Indian cuisine for several years and the vast majority of my dining experiences were in NYC and Philadelphia. Letts Eat is a family run business, with a wonderfully warm staff and absolutely delicious food. The first time we dined here, my wife and I enjoyed the chicken curry, naan and samosas for an appetizer. Everything was fantastic! We particularly loved the samosas, but again, everything was great. The service was excellent as well. The waitress was a little inexperienced but she got everything right so no complaints there. Another visit we were served by a waiter who noticed my Navy Federal logo on my credit card. He asked if I served and I said yes. He extended his hand and thanked me for my service to our country! We returned for lunch and has the buffet; same food, same experience for lunch. Left absolutely stuffed. It was hard to decide what to choose because everything was so good but only have just so much room :) This evening I was craving Indian so I just picked up chicken curry, spicy this time and naan and took it to go. The rest of the family had pizza but I had to get my curry on. The owner invited me to return in a couple of weeks when they are having live music! That really sounds fun to me so my wife and I will be going back for our fourth dine-in experience and we can't wait. Check it out folks; you won't regret it. Wilkes Barre needs a broader cultural experience and Letts Eat is just the trick. --Steve

We just moved here from FL a few months back and fell in LOVE with this spot!! The people that work there are really friendly and the food is superb! We have this on regular rotation at our house and we always eat here when we have out of town guest here. If your new to Indian food I suggest trying the butter chicken and the veggi samosa, they are a good 1st to try (ask for both of the chutneys to go with the samosa).
