My goodness... the food was so good it had its own personality! Each dish was flavorful and distinct. Highly recommend the sweet & sour chicken with fried rice.
Most stuff is pretty good, but there are definitely a few dishes that are just not worth it one bit. In the first picture is their golden mountain chicken, which is good but not incredible and probably far from the best thing there. In the second is their signature seafood stone pot with curry (number 31), and it had virtually no flavor whatsoever - it was very disappointing. I know there are plenty of other great dishes on their menu, however, it is all pretty high quality, and the speed of service is excellent. Overall a pretty great authentic Chinese restaurant to level up your American Chinese takeout experiences.
This is a very unassuming place. Not fancy, not upscale. But the decor is irrelevant when the food is this good. I would not say we are aficionados, by any means. But this is seriously the best Chinese food we have ever eaten, ever! We (3) went on a Monday night, and it was a holiday, and were seated quickly. Our server was friendly and attentive. The food was prepared in a timely manner. And everything was fresh and plentiful and yummy. The highlight was the Sweet-and-Sour Ribs, which tasted like tiny short ribs in a wonderful sauce. Overall a wonderful experience. Price was very reasonable for the portion sizes. You're not paying for the ambiance here. Your paying for authentic, quality food.
A very good Chinese restaurant with a more authentic menu. Food is fresh and delicious and the staff is friendly and helpful. The tea-smoked duck was excellent! We drove in from up North for the week and had a craving for Chinese food. If only this place were closer to home, we would be regulars for sure!
Great food and HUGE portions. I got the braised beef in Szechuan sauce, you can get it spiced to your liking! I got the fried rice, but I will definitely get the white rice if I get the same dish again next time. Very friendly/speedy service and good food.
Very filling and good prices. However, several items were out of stock. This is Schezwan style so it’s a bit spicier than typical Chinese restaurants.
