This was probably one of the best dining experiences! We came in late on a Saturday night, with our dog.... And we felt so welcome! Our waitress Margaret was probably one of the sweetest people ever, hands down the best waitress we've ever had! The owner had made some bread that they were sharing with customers, it was amazing. They brought our dog water, the food was amazing and it came to the table warm and fast. We will definitely be back every time we are in town, and recommend it to others!

My family and I just finished eating here and it was wonderful! There were 7 of us and the service was excellent. Everyone got something different and all the meals were great and the peach cobbler was to die for! If you are in the area it is worth a visit!!
Found this place by accident but I will definitely be back soon. Decor was awesome and all staff friendly. Nice change from the "norm" restaurant menu. Highly recommend the mixed grill entree.
Quaint decor especially for the budding taxidemist. Service was very good -- the waitress was almost apologetic that they charged $3 to substitute onion rings for chips. The onion rings were the best I have ever had and the portion was huge. My Reuben sandwich was perfect; so was my wife's pulled pork.
Great food, good atmosphere, and friendly staff. We were stay at Great Wolf Lodge and walked over for dinner. Try the fish and chips!
All our food was very good. The waitress was super attentive to us. We got our food quick. My husband liked the elk and feasant sausage. My reuben was one of the best I have had in awhile.
First time going after we left the outlets and I have to say this is indeed going to be my favorite spot to go in Williamsburg! Food, drinks and service was excellent! Make sure you ask for Michael as your server when you go.
We were vacationing at Great Wolf Lodge right next store...... the waitress and the food was fanominal!!!!! I got the fettuccini pasta in he homemade garlic sauce and the potato skins as an appetizer!!!!! It was great!!! My two older kids loved the food and they are VERY picky!!! Shame I won’t be back as I was only on family vacation!!!
My wife had been over to York River State Park and decided to give The Huntsman's Grill a try. We ordered onion rings for an appetizer and they were served hot and delicious. We both ordered the Huntsman's dinner special. Boneless chicken breast with barbecue sauce, kielbasa sausage, grilled red potatoes and steamed broccoli. We also had garden salads. The meal was hot and well prepared when it arrived at our table. Dessert of vanilla ice cream with a cherry sauce was included. The server also brought each of us a glass of eggnog because of the holiday season. It was a very pleasant experience for us and have no reason not to try them again.
Food was delicious and serving size generous. Price was just right and our service from hostess to server was spot on friendly. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Ok...I don't know where to begin...but here we go! Steak Perfect! Alligator and shrimp gumbo 10/10, kid's meals were great as well (yes, I tasted those too), muscles were great!Salmon was cooked to perfection, to sum it all up I'd give it a 9/10 food and service! -1 for not having a specific item that was sold out but that's no reason to avoid this restaurant. BRETT our server, by himself carries the team here like Brett Favre did for the Packers...if you're in the area or at Great Wolf Lodge Huntsman's Grill is definitely worth the stop!
Lovely place with friendly owners, great food and great service! I was hesitant to try something else outside of Great Wolf Lodge, but we are not fans of eating at a buffet and wanted a glass of wine and WHAT A FIND! Kids had great meals, including simple but delicious vegetable and fruit sides (perfect if your kids have only been eating fries!). That said, their fries are delicious! They cleaned their plate, ate our salmon and steak, and even tried cheesecake (we are not dessert people, but these desserts are worth it). I wish I could replicate this place at every kids resort I go to, especially those you have to wait in line for hours. Quick, friendly, delicious.
First time customers. Great food and Zach was great at recommending dishes. I got the Pork BBQ plate and my wife got the Fish and Chips. My food was very good but the cornbread muffin was delicious and the beer batter on the fish was perfect. My 7yo got the kids fish nuggets and daughter got the fettuccine with marina sauce. Both were good portions.
Excellent meal, with outstanding service from Tristan. As a non-meat eater, I'm not crazy about the widespread stuffed wildlife on the walls, but the food was excellent and the drinks were great. (& it IS called The Huntsman's Grill!) We had steamed mussels, grilled salmon, and an elk Burger and we were very pleased! We will return.
I went to the huntsman as part of a group. We are all in the same water aerobics class. The conversation was great the food is magnificent and the atmosphere is welcoming. Our waiter, Tristan, (sp?) memorized all 12 orders and reviewed them before he put them in. It was amazing! He is very young but personable and professional. As a bonus he is a handsome young man as well. He deserved a bigger tip than I gave him at the time. I highly recommend the Huntsman.

Excellent selection of offerings on the menu. There was something for everyone. Our party had the gator sausage and shrimp gumbo, the children's grilled cheese, fries, and 2 garden salads (one with tuna and the other with the salmon). Food was delicious. The service was spot on. The price was surprisingly affordable considering the high quality ingredients. We vacation at Great Wolf annually and will definitely be back.
Liked it. Went a bit later and was seated right away. Service was great, food was average but just right after a day at GWL and some interesting food options that you see everyday like elk burger and fries frog legs
