Stumbled upon this piece of heaven in a things to do, places to eat magazine. Sooo glad they decided to advertise! Pupusas and yucca and chicharrones are very hard to come by in NC where we live, unless I make them my self, so we know the food! It was very much authentic and amazing! Hot, fresh and amazing! Great place to eat! The wait for the food was worth it!

This place is amazing... I find myself craving the food and come back often, even though it's a forty minute drive.... the owner is very friendly and the staff knowledgeable and willing to help when selecting a dish.... I'd definitely recommend giving them a try, you won't be disappointed.

This was the best Latin food I have ever had! Our server was so friendly and helped us make choices! It was the best guacamole I have ever eaten! It was fresh! The papusas were the best I have ever had! When we are in Williamsburg again, will definitely stop!

I wish I lived closer to this restaurant. Still, after eating here once I plan of making this place a necessity any time I visit williamsburg. Food and drinks were absolutely delicious. Fresh and flavorful. The drinks packed a punch and taste so good! I got the piscina sour and it was one of the best drinks I've had in a long time. Also the tienda offers some great products! All around great.

The food and special drinks were wonderful. The owners were gracious and helpful in making menu decisions. I even had samples to help me decide between the watermelon water and the horchata. It was still hard to decide because both were tasty and refreshing. Nice atmosphere. We'll definitely be back. I can't wait for more purposas.

Don't be warry going into the restaurant, aesthetically it's not very pleasing but as Salvadoran I can say the pupusas were very good and authentic. The salsa and curtido were a little bland, I'd also recommend the horchata it is very authentic and not over sweet but over all an amazing experience. Definitely great for a gluten free option.

Looks are deceiving the place looks small from the outside.once inside the place feels comfortable and authentic and then you are hit with a array of Aromas ..smelling some good home cooking. Main dish was excellent . desert was great too service was excellent .the only con was the fountain soda .stay away get canned or a Malta. Great place chicken is awesome..thanks will come again almost forgot the most important part was the puposas the best I ever had ..

The food here was fantastic! We had the fried yucca and chicharon- wow! I've had it in other places, but this one has been the best! We also had the papusas... also the best we've had. This place is a hidden gem... Can't wait to come back to the area just to eat here!

Just passing through and found this hidden gem on my way back home. Pupusas are delicious, even the chips and salsa. Service was a little slow but worth the wait in my opinion.

What a pleasant surprise. When traveling we try staying away from chain restaurants. El Sabrosan fit the bill. You have to try their pupusas and Peruvian charcoal chicken. Jacquelyn took care of us and was a pleasure.

So far, I've only been here once, but we had a great time. The food was good, and so was the alcohol. I had the Coco Loco drink, and it was awesome (picture attached). As a bonus, the prices were very reasonable. The waiter took a little too long getting us the bill/boxes at the end of the meal, but other than that I have no complaints. I enjoyed myself and plan on going back to try more of their food in the future.
