Excellent meal Sam and Amos! Our take out for 13 guests was consumed and my family all raved about how delicious it was. Several guest had never eaten sushi or never had Sushiya enjoyed it evidenced by how much they ate. We had a lot of different items, a boat for 4, 5 or 6 different rolls, octopus, salmon eggs, uni, saba, and, a real treat was the Super Dragon found to be delicious by our guests. Again, thanks Sushiya for maki g our birthday celebration great

Moving to a new area, we tried several Japanese restaurants being dissatisfied. Opening up the menu I saw my oyster shooters and knew this was the place. My wife and I ordered that with the dynamite roll and it was instant nostalgia.

My husband lived in Japan for awhile and has an extremely critical eye when dining at Japanese restaurants here in the states. He gave lunch at this one a big 'thumbs up' and we're now looking forward to dinner at the hibachi tables the next time we're in Williamsburg.

This is one of the best sushi places in Williamsburg, Virginia. The folks here are super nice. The sushi is fresh and delicious The rolls are huge (at least the ones we ordered but I'm not complaining!) and may be hard to fit in your mouth so beware! We wanted an early dinner so we came as soon as they opened. Make sure you check their schedule because they close after lunch then open up again for dinner. We also ordered their fried rice and yakisoba and those were yummy as well. We are fortunate that this place is away from "restaurant row" and near most neighborhoods in the Jamestown area.

One of the best Japanese restaurants I have visited! Service is great and the food is even better! You've got to try the Tempura and the Beef is outstanding! A little pricey, but fantastic food quality. A hidden Gem! Still great!! Service is fantastic!

Amazing little restaurant serving some pretty decent sushi. The tuna was the most tender tuna I have ever had! Service was great and the sake was amazing.

I've had sushi from a lot of restaurants. Sushiya is by far the best place I've ever been. Every time my wife and I go elsewhere it just doesn't compare. We love coming here, the staff are half the reason we love it. They are always super nice and great to talk with. We'd eat here weekly if money wasn't a problem.

In town for a triathlon and was looking for dinner. Ordered take out sushi. It was very good! They had good vegan/vegetarian options, which was nice!
