Stayed at the Marriott Vacation Club adjacent to property for the the long memorial day weekend. Wonderful service from bag drop to starters! Got a chance to play Marsh Hawk and Blue Heron and was thoroughly challenged by both courses! Marsh Hawk had some die off on the greens but Blue Heron was in great shape! Definitely a course I'd come back with my family! Wonderfully convenient to the parks and historical sites!
Stayed here for a week and it was great. Room amazing and comfortable. Quiet and nice view. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Some fun things to do at the activity center. Can't wait to come back.
Fords Colony is a beautiful venue, with amazing staff! I had 4 months to plan my daughter's wedding, and with the assistance of the private events director, Shay Rybin, we were able to have a stress free wedding! Shay was there for us every step of the way. Answering questions as they arose, attending the rehearsal, ceremony and reception up to the cake cutting! Her attention to detail was greatly appreciated.
The banquet staff was attentive and the dinner was amazing! We had so many compliments on how good the food was and how beautiful the rooms were decorated!
Had a wonderful round on the Blackheath course yesterday. Course was in great shape and I'd highly recommend it. My brother, father and I really enjoyed it. Can't wait to play it again.

Played the Blue Heron course today in the Carrier tournament, the course was fantastic and the greens were the best I have ever seen. Thanks for having us.

Had a great time playing the blackheath course at Ford's Colony. The course was in great shape for spring golf. The staff was very warm and friendly. Will be back the next time we are in Williamsburg
Blue Heron course was nice! Enjoyed the round! All the staff was super helpful and friendly! 👍🏻👍🏻
We played the Black Heath course on March 22nd. Despite 12 holes with water it is very playable as there is plenty of room to hit the ball. The greens were in great shape and played well. The green complexes had bunkers but plenty of areas for simple chip shots. The fairways were still a bit damp but well cared for and in good condition.
We liked the warm up area to be excellent. The staff was friendly and the course Marshall offered water when he came by us. All in all a 5 Star experience and a course we will play again.
The photos show #12 a par 3 and #18 which features an island green. Keep it right off the tee and you'll have an easy approach!
Played Blackheath. Extremely nice course and absolutely beautiful. Only reason not 5 stars is because clubhouse is not at the turn.
I've thoroughly enjoyed my golf outing. We paired up with a Couple from Vermont and we had a great time. The golf course was in great shape and the people were very friendly at the clubhouse.
Greens are beautiful & well kept. There's water carts keeping you hydrated... Nobody snooty... all welcome!
