Not really tucked away but off the beaten path a bit. Mario Fazio's is quaint with a little bit of that old school service. Our sever was very sweet and accommodating. Each course was well made and full of flavor. The cake slice is included with the entree meals, but they do have other dessert offerings if strawberries and cream on sponge aren't your thing.
They do cater.
Just a heads up, though, for dinner and the weekends, you're going to need a reservation. Almost daily I drive by and the lots for this restaurant and the 2 next door are packed!
Great food. Owner on site and staff fantastic. Was there with for a family gathering. Wine and cocktails great as well. Family style was fabulous.

A dear friend, knowing how much I love Italian cuisine, told us about Mario Fazios. Let me tell you it was the best! I had the lasagna with a bowl of wedding soup. I haven't had wedding soup this delicious in years! My mom got spaghetti with Sunday sauce. This is something I'd never heard of; Sunday sauce is a great change from traditional tomato sauce. I'm not going to write a spoiler, you "have" to go to Mario Fazios and order the Sammy Spaghetti w/ Sunday sauce. All I can say is you will love it! And the meatballs are moist and perfect for the sauce. My brother ordered the chicken parmesan which our friend recommended. He said it was perfectly cooked and the breast was moist.
Not only is the food delicious, the atmosphere is cozy too. The tables have cloth covers with flowers, and we had cloth napkins which were warm and inviting. We were seated by Mary and Reilly was our Server. They were friendly and made us feel welcome.
I'd highly recommend Mario Fazios to anyone looking to enjoy a warm comfortable lunch or dinner with family or friends.
This is my absolute favorite authentic Italian restaurant 😋 my husband and I have been coming here for years since our son was a child. Now he's 20 and he brings his Girlfriend here too. Great service and the food never disappoints. The owner walks around and greets everyone with a welcoming warm smile. I Love this place 👌
I have been coming here for a while but I can gladly say I love how Mario Fazio’s has improved over the years. My family and I came here before a show and we were all pleasantly surprised. We all enjoyed our respective meals, the soup and salads were wonderful!

We came here for my dad’s birthday as a party of 5 including a toddler. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant and the service we received!
First, I have never been to a restaurant that is so welcoming to young kids. As we walked in they let me know there was a toy box that he could pick something out from once he got fussy or at the end of the night. We sat down and almost immediately they served him an apple sauce, small bowl of peas and a plastic straw kids cup of water. Once he got fussy right before our meals came we walked over to check out the toy box and he picked a little dinosaur. They also brought him out his own small piece of cake for dessert.
Everyone loved their meal. Dinner came with bread, soup or salad and cake. Portions are huge! The garlic bread and salsa like dip was so good. The veal meatballs were genuinely some of the best if not the best meatballs I’ve had. Dad got a pizza and it was gigantic haha but we will enjoy it for lunch. Pasta and sauce were all very yummy. Mom got a grilled chicken dish and really enjoyed it
Dessert was a very fresh and not overly sweet vanilla and strawberry cake. We also ordered the Sunday. Everyone loved dessert too.
Our server Nick was super nice and very on top of everything. We were all super impressed with the overall service here. It’s just such a warm and welcoming place
We will definitely be coming back and recommending this spot to friends.
Incredible food, absolutely a go-to. We had a set menu due to having a very large party. Wedding soup, salad, a variation of mains and a slice of cake. It was SO good.
I went to Mario Fazio's recently for a family dinner, and found the place warm and inviting. The owner stopped by pizza samples and chat. The service was great.
The food was well-prepared. A few comments though:
1. The sauce on the pasta others had was bland.
2. The side salads were plentiful but needed a different, broader bowl to appreciate them.
3. The house salad was very fresh but bland too. Would have have been worth it to upgrade to a Caesar's - though I don't know why there is an upgrade charge for this.
4. The main dish I had, Sammy's Sunday spaghetti with veal meatballs had boring sauce without much taste, while the meat balls were bland too. The dish was very greasy!
I don't go out to eat much these days, but I thought the food was a bit pricey.
As the place was nice, I'd go back but would try something else.
Amazing Drinks, Good & Service! We Live the martinis, garlic bread and pizza, plus cassada cake. Nick is a great server ; )
We wanted to take my parents somewhere special for their 59th Anniversary, and Mario Fazio's fit the bill. Our meals were delicious and the presentation, plus great service from our waiter Sammy, made for a perfect evening.
I googled clam linguine near me because I had a taste for it ever since I had the dish in Chicago last Mother’s Day. I wanted something really tasty before I go on a fast tomorrow… Mario Fabio’s did not disappoint. Everything was excellent from my first interaction on the phone until I left. I feel full and very well served. The bread and sauce, Cesar salad, clam linguini and even the little piece of cassata cake where all excellent! The service was impeccable. I am looking forward to my next visit. 10/10
Went for Valentine’s Day, the 4 of us had such a nice lunch, wedding soup, pasta and Cassata cake, service was prompt, place is warm & friendly!
This place has become one of my favorites. I always experience excellent customer service and excellent food. I go here for lunch when I am in the area. Their wedding soup is outstanding - always delicious and always served hot. I always order their chicken with lemon and it is always tender and very tasty. Although, last time I was there it was tough and not hot, but they apologized and gave me another one to take home. I greatly appreciated that. Their cavatelli is also good. And I LOVE the strawberry casatta cake. Overall, it is a great dining experience with excellent and pleasant customer service and quality food. Keep up the great work!!! I will continue to dine here and tell everyone I know. Also, they do a FANTASTIC job for take out orders. I am in medical device sales and my doctors and staff LOVE it. It never disappoints & exceeds expectations. Thank you again for always an enjoyable dining experience!!
We had good service and a great salid. On my pasta (good portion) was too much butter. Also, the bread was tasty, but much better to have fresh bread with olive oil. Still a good meal
We found this great place on our way back home, it's really close to I-90. They were very friendly, explained the menu in details, didn't rush us to order but helped us to pick fast and we loved the food! The atmosphere is nice. Beautiful flowers on the tables. Would visit again when we're in the area ☺️ Thank you all for the great time we had in your beautiful place!
This is a family place that treats their customers right, like the old days ! The owner is present, making sure everything is perfect, and you can tell the staff enjoy working there. Highly recommended !
I don't have the pics but I went here with my sister one day looking for pizza and ended up getting the clams and noodle dish. This was about 3 or 4 years ago.
The salad and cake was amazing. So much food and portions they gave me I was so full and couldn't eat the next day. I am into clean eating now etc. and can't wait to try other salads and dishes they have now that I'm closer the spot. The service and food was amazing and the waitress can help with a meal choice. She was very sweet and the memories inside is worth going in of course.
Whenever I do take out. I plan to upload pics next time.
Mario Fazio's was absolutely out of this world again, we had the garlic bread and Italian salsa of course, and a fried artichoke hearts appetizer Mmmm, Mario Fazio's version of a Caesar salad which was different but quite good and for our entree we had the lobster and shrimp risotto which is superb! And we ended it all with the cassata cake and an expresso and cappuccino... and the service was awesome
Mary was like a dear friend. The food was too big, a good thing, and came home in two bags. My wedding soup was so good. Loved everything. Thank you Mary!!
