Review The Irish Legend Pub - Willow Springs

Nice cozy restaurant. Parking is horrible and we ended up parking on the street. The dining made up for the parking. Extensive craft beer selection. Menu went from fried chicken to seared salmon. Staff was very nice. Decor was simple and cozy...wooden chairs and tables, with a fireplace on the wall. $15 average entree was a great value. Friday was all you can eat fish dinner. Servings were ample and hot (chicken was steaming so wasn't sitting in a tray a day or reheated?). Nice place to sit together, talk, and enjoy food. We had chicken pot pie, fried chicken, fish, and grilled cheese which were all deemed excellent.

Be aware the hours listed on Google for their kitchen are not accurate. We showed up at 830 thinking the kitchen closed at 10, but were rushed to order. Even though the bar is open late, felt unwelcome past finishing our food. That being said, their Ruben was awesome! Fish and chips were okay, but the breading was a bit thick (just my preference, flavors were good). We might come back and sit on the patio, but inside was less than welcoming. Go here for the food and the history.

I was quite upset when I asked to purchase a T-shirt and was told there were none. The menu was full of great choices. Food was excellent and the Bloody Mary was spot on!

They had a special that was $2 16oz beer and that was hands down the highlight of my experience. The chicken tenders were good! Food was decent but a little bland for my taste (needed more spice), ordered the dirty birdy and hangover burger. Cheap beer, decent food, nice patio and dining area. Overall good experience!

Irish bar in Willow Springs. The food was good. The atmosphere was Typical sports bar. I didn’t car for some Of the clientele taking photos of customers without their knowledge and making remarks. It was a younger crowd that still needed to grow up. Other than that, the food was fine.

We sat on the back patio which was lovely and had a guy singing and playing guitar which was fun. Fried pickles were a miss to me but the hot chicken sandwich was amazing! If you're in the area you should definitely stop by for a bite and a beer. Especially on a nice day like today!

If you want to feel unwelcome well this is the place for you. Food would be decent if it wasn't cold when it came out. WOULD NEVER recommend this place to anyone. You'll probably be asked to move from your seat to another location for more important clientele. Crazy right but I guess this happens.Ill without a doubt never return.

This place was fascinating. First of all, They serve beer? Wowzers.. Secondly the pond feature residing in the southern most area of the extravagant establishment was my take home to tell my grandchildren one day. Wonderful. Bring your family.

The Irish Legend is a pretty solid Irish Pub in the south suburbs. I didn’t know the history while we were there, but that makes the place even a little more interesting. The food didn’t jump out as anything amazingly exceptional, but it was all pretty delicious and I didn’t hear any complaints.

Stopped in after a wedding. BRUTAL. They had a band blasting music for 10 people, couldn't talk. Went out on patio where they pipped in recorded music. I can also add as an Irish person that there is NOTHING Irish about the place. We didn't even finish our beer
