Found this gem after a day at the park with the kids and let me just say was not disappointed! Food is so good and big portions as well. You can tell the food was fresh. Most definitely coming back here.
Love their onion rings and chi fries the most. Italian beef and chicken items are good but a bit on the salty side.
Tried them out tonight and have all good things to say! I got a Maxwell polish and it definitely hit the mark! The entire menu looks delicious and I can't wait to try it all! The service was friendly and professional and everything on our order was perfect. The fried pickles are awesome and they have really good ranch! Thank you for the great experience!
I ordered the double cheeseburger and large fries. I find their burgers to be very greasy and difficult to eat. I also find that the kitchen staff should be mindful of how a carry out is packaged. As far as taste, I find Wendy's, Five Guys, or Meatheads are just as good. There's nothing special about their burgers . I requested grilled onions and was charged an additional .75 even though on the add on menu, there's nothing mentioned about an additional change for cooked onions. I noticed that the drive through was much faster than going in, but maybe I'm silly because I want to see how you are preparing my food.
Chi-shack is the BEST! My coworker and I stumbled across it a couple weeks ago and we were back the next week! The service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere was inviting and the food was absolutely delicious. Jesus is great! This will definitely be our go to lunch spot from now on.
Food is made fresh to order, fries are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Burgers were very flavorful, filling, and I had no adverse reactions afterwards. The manager/owner even gave us each a free donut to try and they were extremely fresh and flavorful.
The only negative if I had to give is it can be a pretty pricey ordeal. Still, it's some of the best food I've had and I've tried many places along the way. You're looking at about 30$ for two meals, but at least you get your money's worth.
One of my favorite places to eat as their food has never disappointed! Near weekend specialty donuts that are out of this world. When i train new drivers for my job i always bring them here for a meal and theyve all agreed top notch food!! Favorite food easily spicy chicken sandwich but everything else easily just as amazing!!
I don’t know how this place doesn’t have 5 stars. But I’ve had every beef sandwich known to man. This is by far at the top #1. Well done people!!! The spices used are beyond amazing. With the giardiniera 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🤤🤤🤤 I had to pull over and eat it on the tailgate of my truck because I wanted to savor every minute.
All I can say is "wow." I was very impressed with how delicious the food was. Burgers and chicken sandwiches are pretty common in this area, but these were amazing. My family had the crispy chicken sandwich and the chi-burger. It was very, very delicous. I'm definitely returning. They have a large menu with sandwiches, burgers, subs, salads, and a kids menu. The french fries were hot and crispy. They also sell homemade donuts on weekends. The prices are fair and the service is excellent. They also have a drive-thru.

Got back from an errand late so I treated the family to lunch take out. We had always meant to check this place out but hadn't yet, so we stopped and very glad we did. They were very helpful taking our order and patient with the changes we made. Food made to order. Prices fair for the quality of food we got. Staff friendly and efficient. It didn't take long and we were out the door. Everything tasted great especially the Chi Fries. Wish we had checked it out sooner. Will definitely be going back.
My husband and I just moved into town. We went here for lunch while we were unloading and got 2 chopped salads. They were so fresh and light. This place even does donuts and coffee in the morning. This will definitely be a regular spot.

I'm a regular and eat here a couple times each week for over 3 years. The food is always fresh, the staff is always polite, and rarely is my food not correct.

Chi Shack has the Chicago foods I grew up with. It is always a trip back into childhood. There Chicago style hot dog is THE BEST anywhere!

Food is always fresh here, I have tried several menu items and they have all been delicious. Their burgers are excellent, their fries are always fresh, I also like their chicken sandwiches. I highly recommend this place.
That Cheeseburger, Double Cheeseburger is AMAZING! I don't what it is, about the way the cheese melts on the burger. Chi-Shack has the best Cheeseburgers right now.
And those weekend donuts! Never seen anything like it. Delicious!
