If you're in Wilmington, make time for a meal at this place. The service is phenomenal, and the food is equally matched. Bonus, we were there at sunset. Get the fish and chips with the coleslaw for sure! The nachos appetizer was great. The boys said the BLTs were really good. Snag the corn salad as one of your sides, it was delightful.
We made a last minute decision to stop in for lunch on our way out of town after spending a weekend in Wilmington. So glad we did. The hospitality and service are top notch. The manager is so friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure you are having a good experience. Our server who is a young veteran from Alaska was superb as well. The view and atmosphere is hard to beat….literally right next to the water in an open but covered outdoor seating area. And surprisingly the food was amazing as well. The shrimp and fries were so tasty. The crab cake Rueben and corn salad were great too. I also enjoyed a delicious Bloody Mary. If we make our way back this way we will definitely be returning.
Looked for a pet Friendly dining establishment and found this jewel along the river in ole downtown Wilmington. Beautiful outside dining with overhead cover, as you are on a large docked boat. Very friendly staff, and was impressed with the quality of the food and service. We brought our large black lab, and staff and customers enjoyed meeting him. Your dog need to be well manned, lol. 2 hour pay parking is close. Alot of other things to explore is this area of the city. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner.
Very enjoyable. Slightly above average pub fare. Not terrible by any stretch. The riverboat vibe is relaxing and chill.
It doesn't do much outside the environment to distinguish it from other quality pubs, but in the end, it is still also a quality pub.
Prices are a smidge high, but not ludicrous.
Worth a stop, fer shur.
Loved the location. We sat on a bar that overlooked the river and can easily see the battleship. Food was really good and reasonably priced. Waiter was excellent. And being close to the board walk was an amazing treat. Plenty of paid parking near the restaurant. I got the bonny burger and was very impressed. My wife got the ceaser chicken wrap that she enjoyed. We also got cheese curds for an appetizer.
This is a great place yo eat, or have a drink on the water. They have amazing views and the food was delicious. The service was top-notch. I would recommend them to anyone who is near them to stop by and check them out.
First time visiting Anne Bonny's. Only a fifteen minute wait. Lovely evening. Drinks really good. Too many IPAs. Need more beer choices. Had fish and chips. Husband said very good. I had tropical chicken sandwich. It was good, but not tropical. They ran out of pineapple jalapeno relish and unwilling to make more for our order. The waitress was sweet and brought some fresh pineapple from the bar. I won't get it again if they don't have all the ingredients. Sunset beautiful.****we would for sure try this place again. Enjoyed being there on the river.
Awesome quick bites and right on the water! The servers were so nice and quick. Really loved the grouper sandwich and the fish n chips. They also had a decent selection of draft beer. Really loved it!! The food came out so fast and our server checked on us a few times. Not too expensive too considering it has all the views!
The place is located right on the Riverwalk where you can get nice views in a great atmosphere. Plus, it is dog friendly 🐕. The sandwiches are good, but the fish and chips felt more like a kids menu item.
This is the perfect hole in the wall right off the river in downtown Wilmington. Their prices are very reasonable for both drinks and food!! Plus both are delicious. Although it’s my first time here I hope to come back next time I’m in town!!
Had a lovely dinner while watching the river flow by. Excellent service. I had the shrimp po’boy and Carolina corn salad. So delicious. Will come back for sure!
Great little spot on the water! We just got a few appetizers and that did just the trick. Food, service, and location were perfect for our day trip! (Pretzel was huge and amazing!)
We moved to Wilmington a week ago, and this was our first downtown dining experience. It was wonderful! The 4 of us tried out a burger, shrimp Po boys, nachos, fried pickles, and a buffalo chicken Philly. Loved it all, and our waitress was sweet and efficient.
Ate at Anne Bonny's Bar and Grill after taking the sunset boat tour. We ate here after sunset and was still able to enjoy the beautiful water view from surrounding lights. The service was amazing, the food came out quick, and it was delicious. My Husband ordered a Bloody Mary and it was so tasty. If I'm ever in this area again I will definitely be eating here again! I 10/10 recommend.
It was everything that we hoped for. The day of, we actually canceled our reservations for an upscale restaurant because what sounded good was a cold beer next to the water. Nothing fancy, just a cold beer, the sunset, riverfront and some tasty food. Anne Bonny's delivered all of that. We were greeted by bubbly and really kind staff and that bled over into our service. I have absolutely zero complaints. The food was delicious and like I said, you're not coming to be fancy but their food is up there in quality. The cheese curds and that homemade guacamole disappeared so fast and I debated ordering seconds. I don't think I could make a Wilmington trip again skip out on this place. It is a must have.
Fun drinks and great appetizers! Right on the river. Service was great as well, in and out in less than an hour.
