Service was great and so was the food. Breakfast tasted home made and delicious. Liz was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Loved their homemade Biscuits, Grits was delicious and bacon was the best I ever tasted. Atmosphere small and cozy with lots os locals conversing and having a good time. Very inviting and parking is located in the small shopping plaza. If ever in the area again, will certainly be back!

There's only one way to describe ... good home style cooking. A lot of the customers are long time regulars. Typical meal is entre with 2 vegetables or side salad plus bread. Also have variety of desserts. Has been renovated and is always clean regardless of how crowded. Can have table, sit at bar, or get take-out. Very reasonably priced.

Great atmosphere and true Homestyle Restraunt feel. When you first step theru the door you feel at home. The hospitality is grade A and the service was awesome as well. Prices were as expected not bad at all. The specials should be a little cheaper considering they are specials however the prices were great. The food was great also I can say the special "stew beef and rice" was a bit bland and could've use some kind of zing. Tasted ok and I was satisfied with the food. Would recommend stopping by for a Southern Treat :)

Me and my husband and son just discovered this place (we have lived in the Wilmington area since we were born) and we can’t get enough of this place. Good southern style cooking. They also have daily specials with sides. Last time I got the chicken & dumplings and potato salad! I can’t get enough of their potato salad - so yummy! Very affordable & fast we never wait long for our food to arrive. Staff is great. 10/10 recommend

First time eating here but will not be the last. The french toast is amazing! Christin was a great waitress, very friendly and welcoming. It was pretty crowded but didn't have any trouble finding a seat. They should put the breakfast menu on their website. This place may be my "go to" spot for breakfast. It's that good!

A classic Southern diner experience with streamlined ordering and check payment processing via QR code, if you like. It was perfect! The biscuits and gravy were great as well as the fresh tomatoes, grits and corn-beef hash. Five Stars!

If I could give it 12 stars I would. @google This place has amazing food and amazing service. Everything is homemade and tastes like it. We came two day in a row and they even remembered our drinks. Definitely a place to go. And major plus, no masks required for entry. All employees do wear masks and hand sanitizer is provided directly inside the entrance.

Awesome little restaurant with excellent food. One complaint is that they didn't serve real butter, but whipped spread. And the potatoes were instant. The food was great otherwise and served hot! Has a lot of locals so you know it's a local fav. Good stuff!

Arrived in a quaint diner and seated ourselves. Waitress was very nice and even though it was busy my coffee and water never ran out. Our food was very reasonably priced and was portioned the perfect amount. I had an omelette and shredded hash browns. The eggs tasted very good and the vegetables inside were just right. My family members enjoyed their meal and no one left hungry! I could see there were mostly locals and that shows to me it's beloved by the community! Great food and great service!

We truly enjoyed Ruth's Kitchen because it reminded us of our hometown restaurant and the food was delicious for a very competitive price. We went to an extremely pricey restaurant and it was awful to our palate.

Absolutely love the place. Small and cozy. Crowded. Not pretentious. Very folksy. We had breakfast. No questioning when we asked for cheese in eggs or anything added in. Like mayo with my sliced tomatoes. They were out of banana pudding, which means its probably good. Good portions. Great prices. Friendly service. Will definitely come back when we visit Wilmington again.

Perfect mom and pop type place. Everyone who eats there is a regular for a reason; the food is great and not too expensive by any means. I always get the fried pork during lunch though their breakfast is good too. 👌
