Had dinner there. Quick service at the counter. Ordered the half sandwich and half soup special. Got the chili; it was ok. The sandwich was hot off the grill. The best part of the visit was the carrot cake. Large piece and the frosting was not overpowering.
I have nothing but great things to say about McAlister’s Deli. I swear I eat here at least once a week for lunch, and it’s great every single time. I have been to this location multiple times and every time Savannah has impressed me with her stellar customer service. She is always smiling and engaged with customers. I’ve seen her promptly help customers and be kind to them all. Give this woman a raise! Savannah you make my visits happy 🙂
I went here with my family while spring breaking in Wilmington and it was nice. You enter, go to register and place your order, pay right then, receive your number, go seat yourself, and they bring your order out to you when it’s ready. They are remodeling and have removed the privacy partitions. One of my core reasons to come here is specifically for the private conversations . Now everyone can hear what you're talking about. If the management at McAlister's reads this please put the partition back.
I always have a positive experience with this restaurant. Both their sandwiches and salads are full of flavor and perfectly prepared. Many options and sides to choose from. My top go to sandwich and salad place
