They weren’t even open and were still 100%!! The drinks were great and the atmostsphere was on point! Great spot for an “after work kind of drink”! Will bring many friends here!!��
This is an amazing place in the area, the food is amazing, extremely delicious made by a real chef! If you want to experience Mexican food in another level go there! And the staff is super efficient and kind at their service. Love it! Love it!!!!
The food was excellent. The best refried beans I’ve ever tasted. The staff is knowledgeable and very attentive. The decor is great. Can’t wait to go back and try the ceviche.

This is an amazing addition to the Monkey Junction Wilmington area!! Just what we needed. The service is awesome. The margaritas are amazing. And the food is very original and not the norm (which is a good thing!!) our fav is the Shrimp Tower app!! More like a meal and Delicious!! A must try for locals AND out of towners. You will be glad you tried it!

My first impression upon entering was, "This place is so clean!" I was the first lunch customer and was given my choice of seating. I sat in a booth near the bar in a smaller area. The service was excellent. Food was on the table in less than 10 minutes. The salsa is one of the best parts of my visit. It's Smokey Chipotleness hugged my tortilla chips. Taco Tuesday didn't disappoint. $2.50 each, street tacos in 5" tortillas. They couldn't have made a better first impression. Can't wait to treat my wife to dinner here next.
My mother in law and fiance had eaten at this restaurant before and said it was wonderful and they had a great experience there. I have always been a little wary of Mexican cuisine, just a personal preference! After a little beach evening we stopping by Tequila for dinner and I was absolutely blown away. The Enchilada Suiza was mind blowing and our waitress Vanessa was so sweet. The manager stopped by to check on us (and of course we praised the food and service). I highly recommend this restaurant as a new local and I hope you can enjoy the restaurant as much as me and family did.
We dined in on a relatively busy Friday night and were able to be seated right away. There was live music, which, while enjoyable to listen to, made having a conversation or communicating with the staff a challenge. I ordered tacos, and they may have been some of the best I've eaten. Everything else was decent but not memorable in the same way. I would definitely order those tacos again!
Had the best Chile relleno. The waitress was super sweet. Wish it wasn't so far away, it would definitely be my go to place for good Mexican food.
My family and I went to this new-to- us restaurant to celebrate my birthday. Excellent guacamole, excellent chimichangas and an incredible birthday surprise! Thry were even able to accommodate for vegans. Lovely staff. We will definitely be back.
We love Tequila Comida & Cantina! We visit often and consider this our favorite restaurant. The food is always fresh & delicious, the drinks are amazing (Try the Jumbo Cantina Margarita), and the people are amazing.

We have eaten at many Mexican restaurants because it is our favorite. This is the BEST we have ever had! It is so clean and the bar is beautiful. The food, absolutely delicious 😋 we had the beef brisket tacos with rice and the BEST EVER black refried beans and the Fajita ACP. We had shots of tequila and the pomegranate margaritas, very good! Great service as well. We will definitely make this our regular spot when visiting here.
I personally think they have the best Al Pastor Tacos in town. I come here just about every weekend or Tuesday for Taco Tuesday and they don’t disappoint. Luis is an Amazing manager and all the rest of the staff are always friendly, attentive and helpful. Their mixed drinks are delicious, their salsa is spicy and their tacos are flavorful. Can’t ask for a better combo. They have an outdoor seating and I feel like I’m eating in some part of Mexico because of the beautiful decoration.
I had a great time here I went with a group of friends. Very spacious and great decor. My favorite was the logo on the brick wall lit up very nicely has a very classy look. The food was awesome. I'm always weary about Spanish restaurants when I find a good one I say good things about it. I had the mahi tacos which was pretty good. The rice is really good some places are hit or miss. My wife had the steak chimichanga and my friend had the steak fajitas.
Check this place out. I think you will enjoy the decor, the music, and of course the food.

Best Mexican food we’ve ever had! We come here every time we’re in Wilmington. Even the rice and beans have so much flavor.
First time eating dinner at this restaurant and must say I was impressed. Not only by the decor, but also how friendly the staff are. I didn't get the name of my waitress, but she remained me of selena for some reason. She was very polite and soft spoken. She recommend to dish I have a picture of. And I must say it was good, but not something I would normally expect from a mexican restaurant. But that's probably because it's a more authentic dish. I will say that the presentation of the food was amazing. The spanish rice was probably the best I've tasted. A had a friend at the table who said it reminded her of her grandmother's rice and she is of spanish decent. So if shes saying its authentic then I guess that must be the case. Overall would recommend due to the overall awesome experience.
We have had dinner here a couple of weeks ago and were so impressed with the delicious food that we came back to eat lunch outside yesterday. Fist, I’d like to say that the restaurant is clean and inviting. The outside seating offered shade or sun. Second, the staff is super attentive and so happy to provide an enjoyable dining experience. Thank you for that! Third, the food and drinks are incredibly delicious and the presentation outstanding! And last, the price is not painful for all of what I just said! You have a great offering and I want to recommend your restaurant to all my foodie friends. Thank you very much.
My new favorite Mexican place in the area! Sat at the bar and had the house margarita and the tacos Al pastor. Both very good, but what really stood out was how attentive and friendly the staff were! Will definitely be back!
Probably the best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. Food is better than you would think it could be. Yeah El Cerro is usually the go-to for Mexican food but they don't even come close food wise. A tad pricey but worth it.
