Service was impeccable! Truly the best service I’ve ever had from a dine-in experience. No sooner had we sat down and ordered, only minutes later our food was arriving! And OMG these portions are amazing! Literally had leftovers for dinner the next night at home! The food was delicious, the atmosphere is so cozy and the staff is so friendly! 100% reccomend!
My favorite restaurant in town!
I eat here atleast once a week!
You can't go wrong with any menu items but my favorite is the tamales!
They are hands down the best around!
Also love all the waitresses and waiters. Great atmosphere any day of the week.
Good authentic food. Good menu choices with specials. Outdoor dining available.
Always top notch, fresh food. I normally get the chori polo and it is so good! This time my BF got the special.
Nice surprise on a quick stop today. Found this cozy Mexican restaurant doing a quick search and truly didn’t expect what we received. Went in at 11:30 for lunch and ordered from the menu. If you read the entire thing you get to know a real important secret about dining out.
Ordered the lunch steak fajitas and the lunch steak burrito with the Camino Real special sauce. Both lunch meals came with a side as it’s typical for Mexican restaurants. I had the rice with the steak burrito and the steak fajitas had the refried beans (loaded with cheesy goodness). I must say the burrito sauce was another cheesy surprise I was not expecting.
My burrito was loaded with steak, onions and peppers of all colors. I was satisfied with the steak amount inside the burrito. The flavor was as expected. Everything was cooked to almost a perfection seldom achieved by any human. Had it been perfect I feel I’d be meeting my demise soon enough for there would be nothing else for me to savor on this earth 😬. For real though, the food was relatively flavorful, the portion size bigger than any lunch portion you’d expect at any normal restaurant (except a MexRest).
The fajita lunch was also amazing both in presentation and flavor. Just look at the pictures! Oh and now about the cheesy goodness of the refried beans. I like cheese and I like beans. Some places will sprinkle some cheese on food like they had to make that dairy treasure themselves. Well the beans were loaded! I traded half my rice for half the beans. I’d say it was a fair trade since it was my treat for lunch. I could have just taken both the rice AND the beans 🤷🏻♂️ but I’m a fair guy.
Our server was on point with the extra napkins and so on. A small recognition for her here, her name is Delcia, and she took real good care of us.
The lunch menu prices are actual lunch menu prices.
Q: Most importantly, how do you know a restaurant has great food?
A: When you visit minutes before lunch rush, and at lunch time the place gets packed, literally packed with men and women hungry to enjoy their Mexican lunch favorites. If the place didn’t have good food, no matter how cheap, it wouldn’t get packed at lunch time. This place gets two 👍🏼👍🏼 thumbs up from us.
Friendly staff, great lunch menu with low prices. Food was good and more than I can eat. Full bar with a good selection. Would like to come back and try the dinner menu.
Stopped in for lunch and now we are wishing we lived closer! It was really busy in here and not only was our waitress amazing but the kitchen staff got the food out of the kitchen fast and acurate! The lunch specials were large portions especially for the price. We will definitely be stopping to eat here whenever we are in the area.
The food is always really good, the service was lacking mostly because they were busy.
Stopped in for lunch. Had a lunch special: sincronizada, first time ever. Big stuffed quesadilla type dish with a side of Mexican rice. A lot of food for a great price; could not finish the rice.
Delicious Mexican food in a smaller space with great drink prices. This place is awesome!
I got chimichangas, fiance got chicken quesadillas, lil sister got acp, all the food was fresh and tasted amazing! If you're visiting town check them out! Affordable prices and great food.
2015: Excellent, quick service, hi quality, fresh food in generous portions, daily specials, complimentary chips and homemade salsa, and only 2 miles from my house. Try it once and you will write a similar report. And employees speak excellent Spanish and English.
Update for 2020: after 5 years, still the same great food! We always split the fahitas Texanis👍
