I love the fact that they have veggie hotdogs and potato (gluten free) buns. My god daughter just loves the fruit snacks and cookies with her kids meal. She says it's the best hotdog ever every time we go! Thank you to the great staff for helping me yesterday also with my broken ankle and knee scooter and bringing my food to the table. 😊

They catered the book fair at Bellamy Elementary. My granddaughter loved her hot dog. All beef, long dog with yummy long bun to match.

The other day we passed Trolley Stop Grill and my wife flew into an intense poetic ballad about her love for these hot dogs. I thought to myself she must just be idolizing this place since it reminds her of her childhood, but I was wrong. It is legit amazing.
We went in today for lunch and I was in love from the moment we pulled up in our car.
Trolley Stop has a great feel and atmosphere. The staff are nice and food comes out quick. I ate two Nathan's All-Beef hot dogs with the North Carolina and All The Way toppings. They were the perfect amount of food for a hungry guy. I also got a side of potato salad and it had that home made taste that screams summer BBQ.
Prices are cheap all around, but don't be fooled, because the quality is high. There are even vegan and vegetarian options for your uncle who does yoga or your hippy loving aunt.
Really good hotdogs and burgers, the fries are incredible and the chipotle mayo is smokey and really well made, tastes great on the Viking burger. Awesome restaurant, simple, and cozy.
Stopped in for an early lunch. Small, friendly, good food. Our party stuck to the hotdogs, I would recommend the all the way dog. Great place to pop in and get a quick lunch. I believe they do catering as well, so make sure and check that out.
The food was great. But the tables and floors were sticky and dirty. The cook and the person behind the register were busy.. ,The one who was supposed to be cleaning was sitting in a booth texting on his phone. I will not go back to eat in but I will get take out.
So dang YUMMY!!!!! We popped by after a day on the beach, best hotdogs EVER! Staff is so great, and the menu is beyond unique!!! We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere! If you are in the area stop by, you will be so happy and so will your tummy!
Went to party where food was catered. Hot dogs very good, not cheap or greasy. Chili topping with onions very flavorful. Brownies so fudge, like homemade recipe.

As long as I have lived here I have never been to the Trolly Stop! No real reason why other than I dont love the idea of hot dogs. Don't get me wrong, I have loved a hot dog at Red Sox game! But living in NC seeing trucks full of clueless pigs on the way to their death makes my heart break. Im not a complete vegetarian and I occasionally eat pork and beef, but this is why I had never been to the cute Trolly Stop! But on this day I was starving, I hadn't eaten, it was 2:20pm and I was headed to my hair appointment a few doors down that would last 90 minutes. I walked in and was surprised how big it was inside, they have indoor and outdoor seating, which even allows pups! There was a tv with baseball on and the staff was friendly and polite. There was far more than just hot dogs on the menu! Burgers, fries, inexpensive combo meals, and a great homemade "hot sauce". Having been employing a weight loss lifestyle for a year I now look at menus differently, but this one looked great for families, college students and men! And also for everyone else, emmaone should be able to find something to chomp on. I decided to try a cheeseburger, without the bun, with lettuce, tomato, catsup, mayo and their spicey "hot sauce". Made fresh right in front of me! They were friendly and accommodating. They had many tempting extra treats at the checkout, Hershey Ice Cream Treats like the "Neighborhood Ice Cream Man" for $1.99 - tough to resist - but I did! I took my burger with me to eat under the drier, and boy was it good. I think the signature "hot sauce" really made it great. The color is unusual, and its not like Red Hot or Tabasco, but its great! They sell it in small and bigger sizes, great stocking stuffer or Easter basket addition for the guy in your life. The bottom line, Trolly Stop is a great place to stop after soccer practice, or on a Saturday afternoon, or just when your hungry! I look forward to stopping in again!
You can never have a bad hot dog, only better hotdogs. Their house hot sauce is really good. The sauce almost tastes like chili and mustard, it's great on fries.
Surfer dogs and Philly tots are some of our favorites! Love that you can select what type of dog you want. We usually get the all beef ones!
Amazing hot dogs!! However, my friend ordered a burger (she loved it!) but there was a piece of plastic in it. Probably from a spoon or fork?

All of the food is awesome! The burgers are juicy, the tater tots are crisp and the chili is flavorful! The feel of the place is also great, they play classic music over the speakers so it takes you back in time a little bit as well.
The staff are friendly and give you time to decide without making you feel pressured about it. Lovely establishment, one of Wilmington's best American food spots!
