I decided to try this place after seeing the reviews and food pics from others. The restaurant was a lot more than what I was expecting. Great ambiance with the sound of people having a good time. It started a little on the downside with the waiter coming back to the table saying they didn't have the beer I wanted. He also came back again and said they don't have prime rib either. But after we got our prawn appetizer and spinach dip it was all okay. The apps were fantastic! Our entrees were equally superb. My son had the Oswego fettuccine and I never saw his food disappear so fast. If I'm ever in Oregon again I'll be sure to look for this restaurant again as they have more than one location.
The food is very good. Menu has a good variety of choices. Service is very good for a very busy restaurant. Recommend getting reservations.
My wife and I had an early dinner (around 5:30pm) on a Wednesday night. The place was definitely not full. The ambiance is muted and the lighting dim which seemed mildly romantic and formal.
We ordered the crispy brussel sprouts which were crispy but not terribly flavorful. They seemed a bit dry but the Sriracha dipping sauce was pretty good.
I had a Caesar salad which was about standard for a side salad, but not included with the entree.
As for entrees, my wife had the stuffed chicken breast with asparagus and pasta. I had the bone-in rib eye (med. rare) with the mashed potatoes. My steak was cooked properly and had a nice sear from the grill. It wasn't as flavorful as some steaks I've had, but it wasn't bad. Unfortunately the chicken, asparagus, and pasta was underwhelming. It was just okay. Nothing tasted "great" but it wasn't terrible either.
The service for the first half of our time in the restaurant was stellar. Dishes were whisked away immediately and everything leading up to the entrees came out quickly. However, as the restaurant filled up, the service disappeared. We waited for drink refills, which shouldn't happen. Eventually, we had to grab a random worker so we could leave.
We expected the check to be about $100 after the tip. However, in comparison to other steak restaurants, and overall quality of the food, it seemed they are about 20-25% more expensive without a matching difference in the food. (For example, Texas Roadhouse includes the salad, rolls, and gravy on the potatoes... While still maintaining equivalent quality and taste...with prices about 20% lower.)
In summary, the food is better than average but not a good value for the price. If you wanted to impress someone with an almost fancy restaurant with elevated prices, this would be a good place to take them.
Classic restaurant with exceptional service.
The server was attentive, polite, and courteous. The food was great! It was fresh and tasty. The grilled Turkey BLT was phenomenal. The prices are very reasonable. Every staff member we interacted with treated us with the upmost respect. This is worth mentioning because my husband and I just got done with a business transaction at a dealership after a 4-hour drive and we looked pretty beat up. In all my dining experiences, this staff in the food industry was by far the most professional and well-groomed I’ve ever encountered.
I was in group of 4. We had 11:30 reservations. So on a holiday week and during the normal lunch hour. Still, our wait time was short. The ambiance is classy without being snobbish. Our waitress was very accommodating and kept in touch to see how things were going. She offered some suggestions that were helpful and answered all questions. She made us feel like we were guests at her home. Genuinely friendly. Drinks were good, as was the wine recommendation for the one of us who preferred wine. We ordered two of their seasonal Turkey dinners, Petrale Sole and Jumbo Prawn Pumpkin Risotto. We were all impressed with the food quality and quantity. At one point during our meal, the restaurant manager stopped briefly at our table to see if we were satisfied.
I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant.
I visited Dad in Wilsonville and chose Oswego Grill since they had some nice Gluten Free options. The food smelled yummy and the atmosphere was very stylish. I'll be back for sure!
We came for dinner with family, and had a wonderful experience 😊 The staff here is top notch and fun. The food was outstanding as well!
It’s Christmas time, hence all restaurants are busy especially on the weekends! I made a reservation at what I thought was the Wilsonville location to celebrate our daughter’s college graduation. Unfortunately it was made at another LO grill location. After explaining the situation to the staff, they immediately went into action. We were seated within 15 minutes by the manager. The service was phenomenal, from the front staff, our server, & management. Our daughter was even given a complimentary dessert, & a congratulations card signed by the staff! Thank you for turning my mistake, into a great night for my family!!
We had such a great time Celebrating my Mother-in-law's birthday. Service was amazing. we walked in on a Saturday 4:45 pm with out a reservation and were seated right away! Server Kenna was spot on again and again drinks, appetizer, and entres. She was so friendly .I love the menu such a great variety. The cherry on top was the birthday sunday they made my Mother-in-law feel so specail. So lucky to have such a place in our back yard
What a great restaurant! We absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is high end with mid level pricing. The food is chef inspired - nothing like the chain restaurants. My stuffed chicken was delicious. My wife had the French dip which was a little disappointing. We expected shaved prime rib on a crispy baguette, but instead was a slab of prime rib on a soft roll. Not their fault necessarily, it's just what we expected. The service was exceptional. I wish we had this restaurant in our town. Very highly recommend.
