Had a delicious dinner here! Started off with a cocktail, had chips and onion dip (WOW!), some bread and butter, ending off with pizza. Lots of options on the menu — would highly recommend.
January '22 UPDATE: Still the best pizza in CT, but have now added fresh-baked bread and fresh mozzarella - especially good when still warm! It is the best tasting mozzarella and bread east of the Bronx!
Best pizza in Connecticut - no reason to go to New Haven for over-rated pizza!
I was lucky to have their pizza at The Hickories Farm in Ridgefield in May 2018 from their portable wood-burning oven and it was very good. Nice flavors with nice char on the crust. I am looking forward to trying Tim's pizza when the restaurant is officially opened.
UPDATE**** I was invited to the soft open at Parlor and it is superb! The place is nicely decorated with ample seating both at the bar and at tables. The pizza is everything you expect in a Neapolitan style pizza: great ingredients, nicely charred, with a good crust and a nice pull on the cheese. They have sourced some of the finest ingredients from "00" flour (doppio) to San Marzano tomatoes! Wilton has a winner!!!!
New Update! Tim and the team continue to impress every week. Andrew, the Pizzaiolo, makes a very good pizza! Everyone enjoys pizza: from Roman-style to Sicilian to deep dish to Neapolitan it's all good! Parlor makes a Neapolitan pizza that is superb in both flavor and presentation. As someone who reviews pizza around the world, and the former owner of the New York Pizza Expo, I will attest that Parlor can compete with the best! If you prefer a Roman or Sicilian pizza then Parlor is not the place for you as there are other places nearby, with good pizzaiolos, that provide that style.
They are always introducing new pizzas with fresh ingredients according to the seasons! They continue to impress with their quest to perfect their dough.
I’d been wanting to try this place for a while and finally had the opportunity last night. I’ve found my new place for a great pie! Charred, not burnt, crisp, but still has a bit of a doughy, very tasteful crust! I ordered a pepperoni and a plain cheese and loved them both! The only downside is that they’re very small, personal sized pies, so I didn’t order enough for a family of four! Next time I’ll snap some photos. This time, they weren’t around long enough to photograph. Wife and two kids loved the pizza here too. It’s very rare that everyone agrees!!!
Cool hip joint for some fresh pizza! The pizza is overall great, crust is chewy and slightly singed, toppings all well picked and placed (especially the clam one), and great atmosphere for it all! The bartender was very nice to us, letting us try various wines and beers before making a choice.
Great pizza and service. They always make my orders perfectly, even special pizzas with dairy restrictions. When ordering take out the online ordering tool is easy to use and ETA for when food will be ready is usually spot on.
Fresh food with so many veggie options! Loved their roasted cauliflower salad with a nice crunch and flavor. Pizza was great too. On a busy friday evening my order was ready on time.
