Tisza - Windsor - Photo album

Hungarian chef really knows his craft. Dishes were beautifully prepared. The Schnitzel was one of the best I've had in over twenty years. It compares with the best I've had in Bavaria and Austria. The roasted artichoke was sublime. Do not be put off by the location. The food is all you need to worry
First time at Tisza and a positive experience. Service was excellent, food was mixed but overall a very pleasant addition to the existing Windsor choices. Tomato bisque was great, salmon main moist and flavorful. Cheesecake was excellent. One area where there is definitely room for improvement
Came in on a Thursday night around 6 without reservations. It was beautifully decorated, service was quick and friendly, and the food was really tasty. Between the 3 of us we had an appetizer, a first course, 2 entrées, 2 cocktails, and a beer and only spent about 110$. Great deal for an upscale din
Wonderful Addition to the Windsor restaurant community. They have an awesome list of creative cocktails, worldly cuisine, and great service. The Schnitzel is a must have! We will be back soon!!
Fabulous dinner! Wonderful artichokes, delicious schnitzel, unbelievable crepes made just for us (not in the menu but chef offered to indulge us, thank you!!!) and great, friendly and knowledgeable service
This chicken dish was PERFECTION. A combination of different kinds of mushrooms and seasonal veggies. The service was fast amd attentive and I cannot wait to go back and try something different.
Ignore the fact it's inside a Holiday Inn and go. It's independently owned (they lease the space from the hotel) and the food is amazing. I had the lamb shank and it was probably the best I've ever had.
Always the best service, food is exceptional and drinks are always on point!
This is a hidden gem for sure. A nice restaurant inside a hotel in a small town like ours did not seem like it was going to be a great restaurant, however it was. The drink menu was fantastic, the appetizers were a little pricey but the entrees were very reasonable. I had the schnitzel and my husban
Wasn't real excited about the menu at first but what is on it is excellent ! Good portions too. Best breakfast I've ever had. Staff is very friendly and food is served in a timely fashion. Also the bar tender was talented and experienced. Made me the best Manhattan I've ever had. Highly recommend th
The staff was very attentive and friendly and let me sit outside. The cocktail one person ordered was really good (don't remember which one it was), the had a well-rounded beer and wine list. The Mac and cheese app is really good. The lamb osso bucco was like butter. So delicious and fell off the bo
The food is incredible I am very impressed with the chef's talent to create such delectable dishes! It's comfort food with class and the prices are quite affordable especially when you consider the quality of what you are getting. The staff is happy and service is great! A true gem for the communit
Had a wonderful meal there the other night and will definitely go back! My ONLY problem was how little wine you get when you order by the glass. I work in the wine industry and what they poured was a little more than a taste at a tasting room. For $14.00, I expect more than a taste! It probably
Tisza Bistro is located in the Holiday Inn (Windsor) where you can discover seamless fusion of old world charm and modern elegance. Love this place- good food, great chef/owner, awesome bartender (Saul), wonderful ambiance, and welcoming staff! And the restaurant is always clean- another review used
This place was great. Fun beer selection and an attentive staff. Leans German with a Hungarian chef, really good solid dishes. We had the braut, the my dad won't shut up about the sour kraut. The wienerschnitzel was as big as the plate, tender and perfectly cooked with a fantastic mushroom sauce.
Had the schnitzel and it was amazing. Also sampled the duck leg which was also top notch. The staff was prompt and very knowledgeable and extremely fun. A true hidden gem and we will be back! Don't let the Holiday Inn scare you away. Q
