My first time at this restaurant was an absolute great experience! The food was very fresh and delicious 😋. The atmosphere was relaxed and the waitress gave great customer service. I would recommend this restaurant to any new to the state like myself and looking for a great place to eat lunch!!!!!

What an interesting and delicious dining experience. Off the main roads - I actually thought the GPS was wrong as we arrived in what appeard to be a dead end but.... opened a door... went down a hall and found this bustling "porch kitchen." Food was delicious ( and being from Buffalo that means a lot). Wait wasn't bad at all - grabbed a beer at the bar and didn't even finish it before being seated . Meals were delicious - atmosphere fun - and although I didn't have one, everyone raved about their unique margaritas-herb based- which did sound amazing. You won't be disappointed.

The foot is always great, never had a bad meal. The service has always been good. If you want to go out for a good meal, kick back and relax the Porch is a very good choice.

I sat at the bar, they were super busy, but the bar tender ( petite lady with a corn row faux hawk) made sure I had what I needed and checked back frequently. She also made recommendations for my next visit. Food was great as always. Had the texas pete chicken flautas & the strawberry habanero Margarita, it was a bit too salty, I reccommended a sugar rim to combat the heat and saltiness. I'll definitely be back!

My husband and I had a marvelous meal at The Porth Kitchen and Cantina. The food is delicious and the portions, generous. Our server was great. She made us feel right at home. We will try the prepared foods next.

I went there today on my lunch break from work. The chicken tacos were amazing! Service was friendly and the atmosphere was out of this world! I loved it! I will be returning! Everything was so fresh and the guacamole was the most delicious guacamole that I’ve had in a very long time.

We love this place! From the margaritas to the naked chicken bowl. Yum. Delicious.

They also have a good selection of beers and a brewery that is literally next door. Oh, and stop by and buy some gin while you are in the area.

This little gem is tucked inside an old saw mill and surrounded by art galleries, and a brewery. The libations are all to die for! Try the lavender margarita. I had the special with green sauce over chicken. Some of the most delectable flavored I have ever tasted. @winston-Salem
Bustling joint, so be patient.

AMAZArita!. So, the double Patron margarita is perfection! It comes with fresh cilantro and is just tart enough to be interesting. The smell in there is like living in a garden of delicious. The servers are all very upbeat and friendly; the hostess introduced me to dipped nails, so I love her, too! Great experience, will TOTALLY be back! =)

Good food, odd service model. I've been to The Porch twice and each time, all the food we ordered was fresh and delicious. (We all shared our entrees, so we could sample several) They have interesting daily specials as well as a standard menu. They also have a Sunday brunch, which I haven't tried yet but intend to in the near future.

The atmosphere is interesting and quirky. It's located inside an old warehouse with painted concrete floors and high unfinished ceilings. Be aware, between the talking of other customers, poor acoustics and the background music playing, you have to practically yell at the person sitting across from you to have a conversation. I don't have a problem with this as long as I'm out with casual friends for fun, but if you are looking for a quiet place to have a nice conversation, this isn't the restaurant.

I'm not too fond of the semi-self serve wait service, though. When you arrive, a waiter brings a menu and takes your drink order, but you have to walk up to the cash register and stand in line to order your food. The line is a little chaotic as there is not much room between the tables and the register. A waiter will bring your order to your table, but you have to get up to refill your own drinks. I plan to go back, but would be more inclined to eat there more often if they went to standard wait service.

Here we are, Friday again…thank God! I was in serious need of some down time tonight. Anyway, thanks to everyone for the suggestions on Winston Salem area restaurants. We received alot of feedback on our Facebook page. Overwhelmingly it was “The Porch”, that was decided upon. I did a little research online and found out that this place gets busy quick, so we decided to leave High Point around 5pm. The directions were a little shady, but if you type in “840 Manly St” on your GPS and then turn onto “Mill Works St”, they are located in the red warehouse. It’s kind of an industrial like setting. When you walk in through the back (next to Hoots roller bar), you pass a kick boxing studio and a liquor distillery in the warehouse, and then you come to “The Porch” on your left. The host greeted us as we walked in, and asked us if we would care to sit at the only two seats left at the bar. We obliged, as they appeared to be almost full in the dining room. When you walk into the restaurant there
