Lived in Winston-Salem for about 4 months and this just became my favorite bar. Chris is an excellent bartender and the place has a very welcoming feel. A bit small (so I imagine it gets packed when busy) but they have a nice wrap-around porch outside.

I had always loved this place...until I moved back to winston. Jenna and John are great!! But..Morgan and James are awful...bar narzis Cmon..it's a dive bar. I don't feel like the patrons come first. New ownership?? Lost its total cool vibe appeal.

I love this bar but am concerned James Douglas' belt is going to fall off since he insists on accepting his bartending tips in it. He flat out refuses to accept them by hand. Sometimes he will take them with his teeth. Dude has skills.
