So I ordered breakfast through the Panera app for delivery. When the driver got here (they deliver through Door Dash), he did not have the 2 smoothies that went with my order. When questioned, the driver stated they did not "hand" him any drinks, only the bag. I know this is not right, because I usually pick up my own orders in the morning, and they have the "to go" orders setting by the door and you just grab and go. So I called the Panera store. Hannah (sorry if I am spelling it wrong!) answered the phone, super friendly and very understanding. After I explained what happened, she said she was actually the catering coordinator and was heading over to main campus (which is a couple miles from where I am located) and she would bring me my smoothies. She was supper kind from the very start of the phone call, all the way through when she delivered my drinks. Very helpful, and pleasant! She did not have to bring me my order, she could have very well made any other decision (cancel my order, make me wait for another door dasher, etc.) but she did not, she went ABOVE and BEYOND her job duties, and her customer service skills are impeccable. I had the steak and arugula sandwich for lunch today. It was wonderful! What a great healthy sandwich. I would love to know what they do to their onions. They were sweet like they had been marinated in dressing or something. Yummy! Very fresh too! It was my first time eating at this location. I haven't eaten at Panera in a couple of years.
Place was half filled up, was clean, service was way above average, food was everything you could hope for. Manager Samantha took order and it was clear she was on top of every detail in all areas and was so bright and cheerful.
