Read a few recent reviews that were very critical, and I almost did not eat there. Glad I happened to be nearby, and I really wanted a great hamburger. First, our experience with customer service was great. These are hard working kids, and this may be their first or second job, but they are getting the hang of it. They were considerate, respectful, friendly, and brought our meals to the table. They wanted to make sure we were having a good experience. In other words, they cared about their jobs, the food they were cooking, and the customers they were serving. I told them I appreciated their hard work, and they all lit up with smiles on their faces…we could use more customers directly telling young people that in today’s world. Second, the burgers are the best I have had at any restaurant. These burgers are truly burgers from way back. We had the Carolina burger and Cheesesteak. I am hooked on this Carolina burger. It was juicy, fresh, and very tasty combined with the sauce they put on it. I highly recommend this place. I will be back very soon.

Wayback Burgers opened yesterday and it was everything I had hoped they would be. Don't look for rediculous things like bacon gobbed up with flour and deep fried, just perfectly formed and cooked burgers nice and juicy. Nor will you get a 1/2 bushel of greasy fries thrown into the bag, either. Just a good honest portion of crispy fries cooked to perfection. Like milk shakes? Then you are in for a treat 'cause these are as good as they come. Others will review Wayback Burgers with better writing, I am sure. Me, I will just end by proclaiming their fare as Good Groceries!

I was getting new tires next door and had some time to kill and I was hungry. Being a vegetarian, I didn't know if they had a burger for me, but I was pleasantly surprised that they had two choices...the garden burger and the Impossible burger. I chose the garden burger and it was very good. Glad they had slaw as a topping! The onion rings were very good, too, and a very large portion. The restaurant was very clean, including the bathroom. I was pleased that they offered beer and even more pleased that the young man asked for my ID (I'm 63) lol. I will be back!
