It tooked them a little bit to bring the food. The server very attentive with us, even gave us some recommendations. The starter came at the same time as the food did. But everything else was just perfect. The food tasted very good. Everything we tried was new for us and we definitely be back soon.
This restaurant is a unique and wonderful one in downtown Winter Haven. There is indoor seating and patio seating in the back. I especially love their small plates menu and and they have one of the best bartenders in town! They have recently expanded their Menu and the new grilled cheese sandwich is a welcome addition. Their French fries are perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and the brignets are always a good way to end your meal.
Kinda fell in love with this place. The first handful of times, I sat outside on the patio. Such a cozy vibe for dinner! The food has never disappointed me either. I usually have the same waiter, wish I could remember his name, but he has a ton of tattoos and just the greatest personality. I was finally able to try their brunch with some girl friends. The bottomless are the best I have found around town (not that I’m a lush)! They bring the whole bottle to your table with various juices. Can you start a day off any better?!
Absolutely amazing! Truly love the history of this place and the food is worthy of the buildings legacy. The service and the atmosphere was perfect and I can't wait to come back. The truffle fries are am absolute most have!
Order the Cavatappi with grilled chicken and sun dried tomatoes it's the finest I've ever had and I'm from New York 🤷 also the best cocktails. The bartender is a true artisan. Anslie is a great hostess. This place is a true gem.

Highly recommend this place. While it does come out on pricier tag this spot is great 👍 the ambience is old school and relaxing. The staff are very friendly and attentive.
I ordered Garden Fire, Loaded Truffle Fries, Pork Belly skewers, Stuffed portobello cap, wasabi blackened tuna steak and fire roasted ahi tuna lettuce wraps with a water, sprite & Maple walnut old fashioned (21+ drink)
The fries tasted good very unique flavor due to the truffle oil, the pork belly was tasty had an Asian kick to it similar to Chinese ribs but on the lighter side so it wasn’t over powering, the portobello was indeed the star so good flavorful the wraps the tuna melts in your mouth and the garden fire was indeed on the top of the list you can’t really tell it’s cauliflower.
The tuna steak wasn’t bad at all. I would personally smoke the tuna and hold back on the wasabi. The tuna flavor should never truly be overpowered by the wasabi. But over all the service, quality of food and ingredients and the taste this little spot in Downtown Winterheaven gets a 10 out of 10.
Very laid back place, beautiful interior, nice menu. I loved the shrimp po boy, and my fiance liked his steak. The fries or wedges were really unique and flavorful. Our server was knowledgeable and he was very friendly. We will be back!
Absolutely fantastic! The food was amazing and the cocktails were great too! The chefs and bartenders know what they're doing to provide excellence. And honestly, the prices are incredible for the quality! Definitely coming back here!
I came across this place after my roommate told me about it. The food is delicious but what I like the most is the cozy atmosphere and where everyone seems to know each other. Recommend to those seeking a good time, food and drinks.
Omg. So I follow tempo 1930 on Facebook and drool everytime they post a picture 🤣 but my dad and I found ourselves there while doing the 2021 bucket bucket list! I ordered the truffle burger, off the charts, jammed packed with flavor. It was so freaking delicious. It wasn't greasy, it was juicy. It was actually a perfect sized burger. I felt full, but not overly full. Burger came with the perfect amount of fries. The atmosphere of the restaurant was fun! My dad ordered the tempo burger adding cheese and bacon and with the first bite was hooked. We still have 46/50 burgers left but can't wait to go back for another burger and also for more of what they have! The waitress was fun, wish I could remember her name to give her a shout out! If you haven't been, do yourself a favor and stop in!
Lovely restaurant with good food and ambiance. The truffles burger was well worth it, very tasty 😋. The truffles fries did not deliver to my expectations. The Cajun shrimp pasta was good but I felt it needed something to make it unique to take it up a notch. The bartender did a great job in making my old fashioned.
Simple spot with great drinks and delicious meatballs that were affordable! I ordered two seasonal cocktails which were good, but I would have been happier with ordering the traditional version of them! However, I will be coming back to have a beautifully secluded outside bar to myself next time. If you have time and want to celebrate or causally go out one night in downtown winter haven, definitely come here to check this place out.
First time...awesome food... you will not be disappointed I had the portobello mushroom burger and it was truly delicious the wife had the cauliflower Burger with fries she loved it definitely will return
We stumbled upon this gem on vacation and we were not disappointed. We were there on a Saturday night and were welcomed with smooth soulful jazz and a great bar staff. The bar was full but joyful and welcoming, the kitchen was fun to watch and made some delightful food. We immediately felt right at home! And the key lime martini....wow unique and delicious. We will certainly make a point of returning during our next Florida trip and hope the locals know what a gem they have!
It was really good. Housed in the original Publix Tempo 1930 has a modern southern menu. We had a mix of dishes including the triple blt which features pork belly as well as double bacon and buffalo cauliflower. The food was delicious service was a little slow but it was lunch time. The bar was well stocked and lots of unique signature drinks.
First time here tonight and it was great. Appetizers were great, drink were good, and the steak I ordered was perfect. Will definitely be going back.
