Food was amazing and the waitress named sherry was like no other haven’t had a waitress like that since i moved down south here she was awesome and certainly deserve more money
Absolutely the best BBQ we have ever had!!! We need Sonny's in Iowa!!! It was so good, that on vacation we ate at two Sonny's locations. YUM! The food was mouth watering and the staff was super friendly. I highly recommend Sonny's!!!!
Every time I am in the area its a must to stop in and eat at Sonnys amazing food.

Austin greeted and sat us immediately and we had food in 10 minutes. He was kind. Food was awesome and it was our 1st visit ever to Sonny's. We went around 2pm ish. Would try again. We had the $6.99 original pork big deal they have on Wednesday's in May
Great food. Friendly people work here. I'm not sure if it's an every week thing but today 5/8/22 it was all you can eat chicken and sides.

Great food, AWESOME PLACE!! Staff is very friendly and service is fast. Servers make sure you have everything you need. We used the take out option and everything was great. Restaurant was clean. And plenty of parking. This place is conveniently located between Winter Haven and Aburndale.
A very special thanks to the staff, especially Jazmine ---who also graciously and expertly doubled as our photographer, for taking such good care of our large group. We had family and friends together sharing stories of my Dad after his funeral.
The food was awesome! And, the serving portions were large, even on the lunch menu! A definite must-do for barbecue!!
I just ate there about 30 minutes ago. As always the food was good but it was literally outshined by the service. In a post covid-19 world when you looking for some place to go I recommend Sonny's. They are taking every opportunity to keep you safe. Plus My waitress was extraordinarily helpful and courteous. As a 50 year old man who has traveled across the country and internationally my waitress was in the top 5% of all servers I've ever had.
Came to Sonny’s in Winter Haven with a large group after a funeral, and the staff couldn’t have made our experience any better. The food was great, but the service was top notch. Pearl, our server, went out of her way to make sure each of us enjoyed our meal and she did it with a smile. Her and her Manager were both so pleasant, friendly, and courteous that it made a great end to an already stressful day. Even the other team members were very helpful. If something wasn’t right, they didn’t hesitate to fix it. Pearl is a wonderful example of how great customer service can change a person’s day. Thank you Pearl!
Good meal. Once the waitress came to our table, service was good.
Ordered BBQ Cobb salad with pulled chicken and a side of full slab of ribs with homemade coleslaw and baked beans with warm cornbread muffin. The best word to describe this meal is: YUM !!!
The only disappointment was that I could not order the banana pudding because they were out of bananas?!

10 minute wait to be seated. Over an hour wait to get our food since the first waitress lost our ticket so our order did not get put in. I would be more understanding if they were busy but not around 3:30 in the afternoon. Didn't see our original server but thankfully our second server Kyrsten was really nice and helpful though.. She really did an amazing job making sure we were completely taken care of and seemed to really care about the company she represents and the value of her customers. I'm only giving this review five stars because of Kyrsten and her amazing service.
Great dinning experience... may have been the best dinning experience I've ever had... First, our waiter was very kind, funny, and on point. Then after ordering, we were suprised at how quickly our food was ready and brought to our table. The food was amazing, it was very fresh, and delicious... All in all I give sonny's in winter haven fl 5 stars... The only thing that could of made it any better at all, is a tall margarita 😁
Food was just ready when we got there. An enormous amount of food for the price. Brought it home and totally enjoyed it. Never had fried pickles before tonight. How did I ever exist without them. They were great. Had sampler meal and all the meat was great and sides were wonderful. Corn bread nice and thick and comforting. Staff was great.
Went back to sonnys to try the food one more time. We had the same food as before but this time the food came out good. The meat was hot and tender , the beans and potatoes were also good. We also tried the corn bread and it was hot and good. Austin The server we had could not have been better.he was one of the best I have ever had wait on us could not have been better. OVERALL A GOOD MEAL ALL AROUND.
We got there and they were extremely short staffed but the ones that were there were great. It took a while to get the food but again they were short staffed. The food was good. Except the appetizer we had. Which they did end up taking it off the bill. Who absolutely no complaints considering everything was handled well by our server.
