Great food at a great price. Most authentic Mexican food I have experienced in Orlando. This is not Tex-nex, it is real Mexican food. Most of the people that eat there are Latin, so you know it's the place to be if locals go. They speak English too, don't be shy :)

This unassuming place in a strip mall is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever eaten at. Don't let the name grocery confuse you it's a restaurant. They don't give you chips and salsa but their prices are so low you can't complain. The food was awesome too. I will definitely be back again and again. The taco al pastor was delicious and the staff was very friendly too!

Jackpot. I knew I hit gold as soon as I walked in and realized I was the only white chick in the place. I was there because my GPS and Google told me it was a restaurant *and* grocery store. I needed to pick up a few things I needed for making dinner later that evening. When I realized it was just the restaurant, I felt like an idiot, and played it off as though I was just there for food to go.

I ordered a small, steak quesadilla and a coke. The guy said it'd be up in about 5 minutes and, because it was standing room only (the place is TINY), he pulled up a folding chair for me. Now *that* is great service. My order was up in less than 5, and then I left. I ate it in my car (like I said, it was standing room only) and OH. MY. FREAKING. GOD. It was amazing.

Now, it's not your typical quesadilla, squished flat and cut into triangles. The homemade (HOMEMADE!!) tortilla is filled with melted cheese, flavorful steak and then topped with lettuce, tomatoes, big slices of avocado, queso cotija and crema Mexicana. They did include a small container of hot sauce, and although it was very flavorful, I couldn't take the heat. (I'm glad I tasted it with my finger before putting it on my food!)

So, even though I only had that one item from their menu, I'm going to say that even if the other food is only half as good, it's still pretty amazing.

As another reviewer said, "blink and you'll miss it". The neighborhood reminds me of East L.A. (I grew up there).

Best Mexican food, made the proper way. If you think you like enchiladas, order some from El Pueblo. They are made the exact way I've seen them prepared in Mexico, not baked in a casserole dish like we do here. And not like other mexican restaurants do by slathering them in sauce AFTER they are on the plate. The steak quesadillas and chicken Tortas are also amazing. Make sure they give you some salsa with both, red and green. Its not some mild, lame american salsa. It's some fiery, spicy, tasty blend of something or other that is just amazing. I go out of my way to get carry out from here.

Blink and you just might miss it. El Pueblo is a tiny authentic Mexican restaurant space on Aloma Ave just east of Forsyth in Winter Park. It is a hole in the wall that is a bit of a remarkable hidden gem, serving some of the best Mexican antojitos or “small bites” street food on the east side of town. El Pueblo, Winter Park It’s a bit shady looking on the outside, but the interior is nice and clean with beautiful murals of scenes from Mexico. The staff is nice, despite the language barriers. The love for food transcends languages, and luckily, the menu is in English and Spanish. Inside, the TVs play the day’s telenovela soap operas from Telemundo and a huge jukebox sits towards the front, ready to play some Mexican tunes. Interior of El Pueblo Menu at El Pueblo Most of the antojitos are between $1.50 and $2.50 while the platters go up to $12.00, all very affordable. In fact, you might get full off of ordering a few tacos and a sope here. Pork al Pastor tacos at El Pueblo The best taco

I have seen this restaurant driving by and since we were around the area and already hungry, we decided to give it a try. The restaurant is very small but cozy. They get a lot of to go orders, so we may do that next time. We sat at one of the booths and got a server right away. She was nice, friendly and got our order right away. We did not get chips and salsa, so not sure if it is their practice or maybe given upon request. We did not ask and not bothered to not have them. We ordered the grilled steak with onions, rice, beans and salad, a chicharron taco (spicy), a pastor taco (super tasty) and 2 chicken sopes (chicken tasted yummy). It is hard to get a good sope and this one is one of the best I have had in a while! The dough was nit hard or fried and cooked as it should. The ingredients on top with the chicken did make delicious!

Great food. Very authentic Mexican food. We had the fajitas platter and the Bistek Steak combo. Both were very good, Chips and Salsa were great and rice and beans were fantastic. Definitely will be coming back.

BEST AUTHENTIC TACOS IN ORLANDO!!! I got food from there today and it was so flavorful and delicious! There is a Mexican taco stand in Dallas, TX that has customers 24/7 (literally open all day) because it's so good, and this is on the same level! I didn’t think I'd find a substitute for that place, but here I am 3 years later. This is the first restaurant that has done true justice to my taste buds. Pastor and Chicken are off the chain. I'm going back tomorrow lol. Good price, good food, good people. What more do you need?

We are Mexican food lovers and this is our second door dash delivery from El Pueblo. I hate to confess that having lived in Aloma Ave. for years we have passed the place and never paid any attention to it. Shame on me! Shame! We have avoided in person restaurant dining unless we can eat outdoors so we haven't been inside. Keeping the review at four stars due to only having delivery. Great food, great presentation, and super fast order processing. The Horchata is honestly the best I've had in years. Deliciosa y refrescante👌

You step out of Orlando and into a small little world of their own. It is the perfect little hole in the wall with beautiful art through out which gives the name El Pueblo a nice perspective bc from the art, the tables, to the sweet staff, and the impeccable food this is a must visit for those visiting!

I tried this restaurant for the first time today. I ordered the chicken tacos and guacamole w/chips via DoorDash for my virtual team lunch today, and let me just say this was the best Mexican food I've had in years! Those chicken tacos were so seasoned and so authentic omg!!! 🤤 I destroyed two of the tacos and the guacamole on camera with no shame! The tacos came with two different sauces, one mild and one very spicy. I mixed them together because the Spicy one definitely had some heat! 🥵 The guacamole was so fresh and oh so good! It was a good portion too for the money and very filling. I've lived in the area for almost 10 years and have probably drove past this restaurant plenty of times and had no idea what I was missing out on, but I will definitely be back. I actually look forward to dining in the next time for the full experience! 😊

This place is authentic so yummy fresh and they make your meal on the spot.veggies and herbs so fresh everything on menu is a plus I come with my picky eater son and make him try the Mexican authentic food and he loves it. Basic simple good food and the inside is very cozy and makes me feel like I’m in Mexico for an hour.

Really love the vibe of this place. This is another authentic Mexican restaurant you can best believe will deliver when it comes not just to the atmosphere but also the food! I ordered a Torta de Milanesa and two Sopes with Carne Asada. This was actually really filling and to be honest I didn’t get the chance to finish my torta and only finished half of it. Everything was really well cooked and in a timely manner as well! For drinks I had Jarritos but they have a great selection to pick from as well as Beer if that’s what you would like. The salsa they offered was very flavorful! I normally go for the spicy sauces but this is something with a low tolerance can take and enjoy! Very great atmosphere and really enjoyed the Cumbia Vibes! Check this place out. Only downfall I would say is just that it’s a small location but that’s it, the rest was beyond my expectations! I ordered two items from the “appetizer” menus which was more than I bargained for plus two speciality drinks and it came out to a flat $20 for just myself. Very reasonably priced in my opinion.

This place never disappoints. The MOST delicious meat, and reasonably priced. Between my husband and I, we’ve gotten burritos, sopes, gorditas, and fajitas. 🤤🤩

This place has always been a go to when on this side of town. Everything is authentic and the food taste great. One thing that needs a little attention is the service. They can be missing at times of attention. This is regarding that there is only 6 tables here. Overall its definitely a go to for a good lunch and late night meal

This is my favorite Mexican place. Tastes authentic, and reminds me of when I lived in Los Angeles. The burrito is awesome and the tacos are super authentic. Their hot sauce is my favorite. I’ve been here several times and always had a great experience. The service is quick but you might have to wait for a table because it’s seriously a hole in the wall but the food is worth it.

This is like a hidden gem. Very fair priced food and excellent tasting. Co workers had been talking about here for a long time and we finally went. It was worth the drive. There are only A few tables so I imagine if you go at the wrong time you may have to wait but we had no issues. I personally had 4 tacos each with different meat and they were all excellent. Two hard two soft. Service was fast and friendly and would recommend to check this place out.

I had an excellent lunch here! Their chorizo burrito is amazing, and it may be one of the best I’ve had in a long time. They don’t have fountain soda, but they do have Mexican Coca-Cola as you would expect, and it’s a great accompaniment to excellent Mexican food.

I'm originally from Texas, and I don't know if I'm a little home sick or what, but this little gem is exactly that, a gem! I ordered an Horchata, and the lady brought me a mini pitcher of the tastiest horchata I've had in a really really long time....real horchata not no powdered stuff, also ordered the Milanesa de Res and omg, bomb! Definitely worth stopping by. Personally I enjoyed the whole experience, it's a small little place, only like maybe 8 to 10 -4 per lil booths, but the place was so brightly colorful, filled with authenticity that made me feel like back home. Great job....Definitely found my new favorite spot in winter park

I happened upon this amazing little restaurant today! When opening the door, I was surprised to find the restaurant so beautifully decorated! Every table is painted in colorful scenes of Mexico, and the booth backs are little dioramas. The walls are covered with Aztec art and other artifacts. It was very busy but the service was still great! They have fresh fruit juices, I had the melon one and it was tasty and refreshing. The pechuga de pollo was perfectly cooked and served with a side of fresh corn tortillas. I highly recommend it!
