Sue and her team of bakers helped us with our wedding cake two months ago. We didn't need anything too crazy and decorative, just good cake! We ordered five cakes from her shop, mountain grind, all different flavors, and they were each unique and delicious! Sue was very helpful over email trying to figure out which flavors and combinations would be best and it all turned out! If you want great baked goods, helpful people, and an honest vendor, mountain grind is a great spot.

Mountain Grind is well worth your time & money!!!! Very clean & well kept eatery with lots of neat souvenirs to purchase. Had a great breakfast burrito & the UnFrench Toast was so unbelievably good!! Fantastic coffee too!! Our super cute friendly waitress is well deserving or a 5 star rating also!! She was very attentive to our table & our needs. Thank you so much for taking great care of us & i apologize for my friend that showed up a bit late...Cant wait to return!

Wow, what an experience. The food is deliciously hand crafted with a touch of love, and pure delicacy. The atmosphere in this restaurant is extremely inviting, with the respect and love of every employee infectiously brought upon each customer. Now let’s talk about the food more... it’s amazing. I have almost never had such a delicious Eggs Benedict before. My coffee: genuine and delicious. The jelly? Handmade. Wows all the way around.

This restaurant has delicious food, attentive service, and the most pleasant atmosphere. I am on a strict diet for health reasons, and they accommodated it beautifully. Brought my dog and sat outside for a leisurely lunch - on a Monday. I highly recommend the Squash Cakes! The menu is authentic and original. Since I don't drink coffee I can't comment about that side of the house. Definitely worth checking out!!

You walk in and the smell of fresh herbs is so delicious! I had biscuits and gravy, Yum! The coffee is so smooth and 1 cup is not enough! The staff was attentive and the owner was visible and friendly. A very at home feel. Very warm and I will be back!

My family happened upon this place by accident and went in when we saw the "vegan friendly and gluten free options" sign out front. It's hard to find place we can all enjoy a good meal (I am vegan and my son and husband are gf). This was the best happy accident ever! Food was great, tea was magnificent, homemade strawberry jam was amazing! The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. And the best part, the people working could not have been friendlier. We're from Texas, but if we ever make it back here for a vacation we will make this our go to place!!

Got the breakfast burrito which was hefty size! Perfect for my big apatite. The girl got the Denver omelet which was really good with green chili and avocado. The food is fresh and taste amazing! Coffee was an added refreshment. Waiter was excellent and we will definitely be coming back to this little gem. Highly recommend this place for Breakfast

We came here for breakfast and we're not disappointed. The food was fantastic and atmosphere was great too. It is a cute little coffee shop with a small restaurant attached. Really there are only maybe 6 tables and although we didn't have to wait for a table some folks did. They even had some adult breakfast beverages there, I had a Bloody Mary and it was great. Only down side is the bathroom; they are located out in the common area of the shopping center and do not have changing tables. We were traveling with a 7 month old so that was a factor for us.

Our first full day here in Winter Park and we happened upon Mountain Grind . We stopped and had coffee and lunch. The coffee was excellent. The soup and sandwiches even better. Very fresh and flavorful. We also took home some wonderful fudge. Very nice find . We will be back during our week here for either breakfast or lunch. The best part of our visit was the gracious and friendly service.

My husband and I always stop here for breakfast on our way home from camping. The breakfast is always so delicious and one of our favorites!! Always a must-do. Highly recommend the biscuits and gravy- everything is made from scratch and the best we've ever had! Great coffee and always quick service!

My husband is a chef in chicago and we were more than satisfied with our experience here not only with friendly fast service, but the amazing menu. I'm dairy and gluten free and they had lots of yummy options including the squash cakes! We were impressed also that they made their own strawberry basil jam and bread. You can tell the difference with quality ingredients and food made consciously to be healthy, different, and pure. We highly recommend it and look forward to coming. Ack next time we are in town.

The owner here went out of her way to talk to us and share her experiences in the local restaurant industry. She has been a long time owner AND chef here at the bistro and we were impressed with her from-scratch recipes. Tasty food and adorable little place!

Came here on my birthday for breakfast and it was wonderful! The owner, Susan and her employees were awesome to chat with, answering our questions and telling us all about their restaurant and local history. This place has great options for meat-lovers, weight watchers, gluten sensitives/intolerants, vegetarians, and vegans alike. The coffee is spectacular; not to mention the free fudge samples or the ice cream/baked goods options and merchandise available for purchase. As someone who tries to "eat clean" most days, this was heaven-sent for my soul (and stomache) in a land of bacon, biscuits, and gravy. So want to go again someday. My only regret is that we didn't know about or see this place sooner.
