Awesome vibe, fantastic food, and you're GOT TO MEET THE OWNER! I had the baked paccheri (a home made rigatoni) with Alfredo and krsipy chicken cutlets... AND IT WAS AMAZING! truly a hidden treasures. It is TOTALLY worth the free ferry ride from downtown. You really can taste it when a chef loves their cooking. Thanks Go Go on the Ocean for a delightful surprise!

Wonderful hidden treasure! Dinner with a sunset over Boston. Our server Justin was great, very personable and his recommendation of the San Marzano with zucchini noodles was an excellent choice for my vegetarian girlfriend. BYOB too!

It is always a wonderful experience when we have dinner at GoGo! The staff always makes sure we are seated and comfortable. Last night, they had many reservations but still found a spot for us to enjoy a delicious dinner overlooking the Boston Harbor. Everyone is so friendly, and the servers are knowledgeable about their menu. The atmosphere is fun and inviting with the best sea food around. The food is always fresh and prepared to order. I love the attention to detail from the garnish on food to the decorations on the patio and in the dining room. The atmosphere, decor, food and staff were impeccable. Not in years have I felt compelled to rate and review my experience while dining out, but my fiance and I were amazed with just how memorable our time there was. From the moment we walked in the quaint and cozy venue I knew we had chosen the perfect place. We were made to feel like family, not patrons and the food was on a level we've yet to experience anywhere else- at any price.

The owners are terrific. Very friendly. As far as the food goes, just so so. Over priced. We ordered 8 shrimp and the total was $57.00. That was a mistake on our part. Atmosphere okay. Just a some tables and plastic chairs to look onto the ocean. If you turn your head away from the water towards the restaurant. Just an ugly lot.

I rarely write reviews but I have to say this place was really no good. I went there to celebrate my birthday with my husband, baby and a group of friends and while the server was nice the service was awful. The Pepsi’s came in warm cans and no ice was given, the white wine wasn’t very cold and they started serving our entrees before our appetizers arrived. The waitress explained it was because a larger party of 15 was also there but they arrived after we did and were given the Aso chicken appetizer that we ordered BEFORE they did. The food came out very slow and I can accept it was because they were overwhelmed but it took me 20 minutes to get a glass of wine and I was seated next to the outdoor bar, and I had to remind the waitress of our order. The baked haddock was dry and tasted as if it had gone off and the $6 meatball was very bland and dry. I normally would have just brushed these things off but two things pushed me over the edge. 1. When I asked to go to the bathroom I was given a key and told to walk to the other side of a garage three buildings away. 2. When the waitress gave us the check she informed us that the gratutity was automatically added on because our party had 6 or more people. This is explained the poor service and why she spent most of the time in the restaurant and very rarely came out to the outdoor area to check on us. I would have appreciated being told this beforehand because then I would have prepared myself or chosen somewhere else to celebrate my birthday. After 2.5 hours at this place, not by choice, I know that I will not be coming here again and will be advising everyone to stay away!

Took my parents to celebrate their anniversary. It was an excellent experience. A small but cozy place with modern decorations. The ambiance was incredible playing classical music such as Frank Sinatra etc. The server was new and he let us know right away so we understood the service would be slower than usual. Even so, he was extremely attentive, informative and kind. The drinks were amazing done to perfection. Had the Expresso martini that was done with the right amount of mix drinks and kaluah; some places ruin this martini but one of the best I had is at GOgo on the ocean. My wife had the cucumber lemonade which she insisted I must try and am glad she pushed because it was delicious. The food presentation was impressive, portions were decent but the best and most important part they got right which was the food: Starting with the apps, had the charcuterie plate, the mussels and the calamari that was so good we clean all the plates. There were many good entree selections and all look appealing and I really enjoyed my chicken parm. Desert is a must and the waiter was kind enough to put three different desserts for my parents with a candle. We will definitely be back for a second visit and I highly recommend anyone to have their first if you haven't done so already.

To start, I like the inside. Good decor, soft lighting, small but cozy. The back patio was weird...seemed like across a parking lot. Great view, but kinda loud with the planes, and a boat was having issues with it's motor, so that was loud too. Food: Appetizers - oysters, very good. Clean, Briney, perfect, no condiments needed. Spicy Thai short rib crostinis: tasty but very salty, not very spicy. I got the Norwegian salmon with risotto and brussel sprouts. The salmon was delicious, not overly seasoned, cooked well. The risotto had good texture but kinda bland. I only got 4 1/2 sprouts and they were very sugary. Not sure if sugar was added by mistake or not...but they weren't good. And portion too small, although I probably wouldn't have finished them if I got more because they were too sweet. My GF got the mixed seafood pasta Fra Diavolo style. Great pasta, good seafood, but the sauce was not good. Tasted like tomato paste mixed with tomato soup, no seasoning detected. And wasn't spicy at all. Good beer selection and the wine seemed like a good selection too, I dislike Cabernet usually but had a sip of my GF's it was good. They get busy on the patio and were asking about reservations, so try to make one if you are planning on going. But I probably won't be back any time soon.

I really wanted to like this place. I was extremely disappointed when I ordered the Lobster Mac n Cheese and when I picked it up it was $37.00! I was told it’s market price. I’ve never in my life paid “market price” for lobster macaroni and cheese. I wish I had a picture, it barely even had any lobster in it. It would’ve been nice to have been informed this special was such a high price for MAC N CHEESE!! The gentleman that took our to go order also called us 3 times to make sure we were picking it up after it was ready. $63 total for a small gluten free pizza, Lobster Mac n Cheese and a side of asparagus! Huge disappointment!

Service was a little slow, but that may because we changed out minds after ordering and moved inside. The fish is mostly market price, because it’s fresh. So if you’re concerned about price you should ask first. (I.e. my JUMBO shrimp were $6.95 each - but surely worth it.) However, the food was delicious. The drinks, hardy pours. I’d definitely recommend it.

Our waiter Nico!!!!!!! He’s a great dancer!!!!! But really, the food is great, Rosanne is AWSOME and all the servers couldn’t do enough. The view doesn’t hurt.

GoGo on the ocean is a new gem of a restaurant in Winthrop. I am Italian so I am particularly fussy when it comes to Italian food. The arincinis are my favorite. Roseann makes them better than anywhere else I’ve ever had them. Also, the sausage with rabe over fusilli is another favorite, and the crab sauce is a must have but I can guarantee whatever you order, you will leave very happy and satisfied. The newly renovated space is lovely with a beachy decor and feel. When the weather is good get s seat outside for those beautiful ocean views. Great service and food! A must try for sure.

Went for our first time with our friend Deb who hails from Winthrop! We absolutely loved the food. It was fresh and the meal arrived steaming hot. The shrimp are to die for. The Caesar salad scrumptious and our entrees yummy!! Even the espresso was superb. Can’t wait to come back and try it again. ��

We had a wonderful dinner there a month ago and I have to say that the food was fantastic, although I was not crazy about the sides being a la carte. The interior is absolutely gorgeous with its coastal theme. Very friendly staff but needs to work on customer service with regards to being more present for the customers. Otherwise, it is a great place to dine and I recommend it!

Awesome food, great atmosphere, and even better hospitality. Definitely recommend! The coconut cake was amazing!

The food was absolutely outstanding the service was great And the atmosphere was Fabulous...If your reading this and haven't gone yet just Go Go. You want be disappointed. Another amazing dinner last night! The Short Rib Crostini never disappoints! The flavors are a ridiculous mix of sweet with a little kick! We also had the Chicken Medallions with Risotto and Onion Soup. Everything exceeded our expectations! I should also mention the three different desserts!!! Wow!!! The night was perfect! It doesn't hurt that we were sitting over the ocean with perfectly placed heaters to keep us comfortable! Awesome Awesome night! Rosann and her staff make you feel like your having dinner at a friends house! Thank you again!

Amazing food, great staff & and a great friendly environment. The soup and the pizza were 🔥🔥🔥 if you haven’t tried GoGo yet hurry up and get in there.

all I'm gonna say is I've been dreaming about all that fantastic food we ate last night and I want it again! Thankfully I had some leftover Bolognese which was the best I've ever eaten. You MUST go and try this little gem out. Or maybe not, cuz more for me! lol Seriously check it out
