My mom and I just had lunch at Highway 54 family restaurant for the first time. The restaurant interior is just beautiful! The wood floors are stunning! the tin ceiling is gorgeous! They have granite countertops and it was incredibly clean. The restroom was very pretty! I thought it would be questionable but it was very clean and very modern and beautiful. We had excellent service. The coffee was very good. It was hot and tasty. Not like a cup of hot water. We had chicken noodle soup which was hot and perfectly seasoned and just brimming with the noodles and chicken. I had a cheeseburger with fries and my mom had the Cobb salad. The cheeseburger was delicious! The meat had such good flavor and almost a little taste of garlic or something in it, I loved it! The fries were delicious just like fresh potatoes fried and clean oil! My mom salad was enough to feed four people and she took a lot of it home. It had chicken breast in it and all kinds of fresh vegetables. We enjoyed our meal very very much! It was also very reasonably priced and they had a lot of specials and I’m hoping to not be as full next time so I can try their pie or cheesecakes. The owner or the chef or possibly both came out to see how everything was at the end of our meal which we really appreciate it. I think it could be the hidden gem of the county. I am definitely hoping to go again and take my family.

Stopped in on the way home for lunch this afternoon. Hadn't been here in many years. The business is apparently under new ownership. Had a baked fish dinner with French fries, Cole slaw and soup. Excellent food and great service too. Reasonably priced for the quantity of food I received. I will return again soon as it is close to where I live.

Stopped there for a meal tonight, The food was excellent, amazing atmosphere. And the server Wayne went above and beyond to help us with our requests, Very nice guy. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal. I have no complaints. Will definitely be returning on a more regular basis.
