Good gose beer. Dog friendly!!! Outdoor patio is small but it wasn’t busy so it was perfect for us. The crowd is what makes this place. Everyone was very friendly and gave our pups all the ear scratches.
First time here today and will be coming back! The beer was great and the pizza looked and smelled delicious! Cara was behind the bar and was friendly and great to talk to! We will be back!
Very good range of beer, from pale ales to unorthodox porters. The sampler is a great deal for the amount of beer you get. Their food selection is practically obsolete but would be nice if they had some variety of food to pair with their beverages. Comfortable environment and easy to get to.

Growling Bear is less than a year old but already off to a great start. They have 12 rotating taps that are constantly changing and vary in selection. The owner's stated goal is to keep at least four darker beers on tap at all times, which is a refreshing departure from many other craft breweries. T

The folks who run Growling Bear are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. The beer is best in the area for my tastes. My favorites are the Red Head and the Saison.
It's rare to find a craft brewery with a neighborhood hangout feel, but this is that kind of place.
Tried 8 of the beers via the sampler, I found the bitter to be the best out of them for my tastes. There are hotdogs and homemade smoked meat chili to purchase, TV's, and games to play while you drink also a small outdoor area in front. A nice place for a good beer. Cheers.
Beer was the best I have had at a brewpub in Prince William County. Atmosphere is nice, especially considering the location in a light industrial/office park. No food to speak of, hence the 4 stars instead of what could have been 5.
Great beer, great service. Great location to play darts. Very nice people and atmosphere. For the reviewers complaining about the place closing. I was there and this place always closes on time. If your going to come in any place 2 mins late then of course the place will be closed. READ THE S
Solid lineup! I love IPA's, but a lot of breweries get a bad rep for ONLY having IPA's, which isn't what Growling Bear does. They a wide a selection to choose from
The Smoked Porter "Bears Got Wood" is top notch. Not usually a porter guy, but everybody should try this one. It is delicious!
The customer service was amazing quality beers from top to bottom.This is by far my favorite place to grab a beer in Northern Virginia.
