This place is a gem. Haven’t been here for a while. Stopped in for lunch and wasn’t disappointed. Pleasant server, delicious food, fair prices. It can get pretty crowded on the weekends so it was nice to stop of for lunch on a more quiet day. Really great Italian place. You should go!

We want to thank all of the amazing staff at Mulberry Street for helping make our granddaughter’s 1st birthday amazing! The staff went above and beyond especially Valerie and Nicole The food was scrumptious as always. This is one of our favorite spots and I knew they wouldn’t disappoint. However the service, the food, and the all around experience was beyond amazing. We are so grateful and so pleased we choose Mulberry’s as our venue for her special day

I came here with my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary and I can't believe I've been living in the area for 2 years and didn't even look at the place, amazing food, excellent drinks and delicious dessert and of course our server Ethan super attentive ,funny and always making sure we got nothing but the best service. Ive lived in avenel for years and had never tried this restaurant. Today my wife suggested we give it a shot. We ordered and had it delivered. We had the three color salad and white wine mussels for an appetizer. The salad was great and the mussels were awesome, large, fresh, and not drowned out with garlic like many other places.
For entrees we ordered the pork chop, which i must say was an incredibly tender, french cut, medium well treat of a meal, and the chicken ripieno. The chicken was absolutely fine, but was missing the prosciutto described on the menu, which was a shame because that was the salt that seemed was missing from the dish.
We ordered dessert which there may have been a glitch in the ordering app we used but only received vanilla Gelato instead of pistachio, but having said that the vanilla was absolutely wonderful.
Overall a good experience with a few minor improvements needed to really tighten it up to a 5 star. We will go eat in next time for the 100 percent experience.

Met some friends for dinner and was happy with the menu items offered. My lamb osso bucco was tender and the red wine reduction gravy was very tasty. The waitstaff seemed to be shorthanded and a little overwhelmed with the dining room full, but was still friendly and helpful.

We went here with another couple with reservations on Saturday Feb 12th. We got there 15min early, plenty of tables still. We ordered drinks, then appetizers, all ok. When our Appetizer order was taken, she asked are your ready for dinner order, or should I come back, we said "We are all ready" she took the order. We got our appetizers on time, they were good, we had Calamari and soup. Then we had an issue, 2 of us wanted to leave after we seen 3 couples come in after us and they got their dinner before us. So, instead of leaving I said, let me talk to the manager, we spoke and she knew right away "who" I was and the table we were at. I mentioned to her its been 1hr and 40mins in with no dinner and mentioned about the other 3 couples getting their dinner before us, she said 2 min we'll have it out. We'll it came out after that and not sure why our friends recommended this place. Guess I was trusting of them. We'll they have a not so good recommendation for us, going forward. Getting comped for desert, doesn't cut it. Even after we were billed $10 for a peach Bellini, which our friend said somethings wrong with this and we sent it back for the valentines Love Potion punch, which was way better. If the manager told me, hey we had our chef get sick or something truthful, I wouldn't be writing this review. However when we seem to get BS, then here is this review. Lost 4 future customers and our friends that go to dinner in Woodbridge area.

Been coming to this tasty place for 14 years. My favorites are the calamari and penne vodka. Drinks are out of this world!

Always excellent service and the staff is attentive. The food is superb, as well as dessert and wine. The servers are versed in what wine to drink with your meal. All in all a hidden gem.

The ambiance is classic Tuscan, feels like I stepped into someplace in Little Italy NYC.
The service was Impeccable. Chris was our server and he was attentive, polite, knowledgable, friendly and very accommodating especially since we were there with 2 toddlers and a baby. We wanted for nothing.
The food was excellent. I Had the cold antipasto and it was perfect. The meats were shaved making them easier to eat with artichokes, cheeses, olives, tomatoes... I followed that with Pollo Florentino which was perfectly cooked, the light breaking not over bearing and the lemon sauce with spinach was beyond excellent. The sauce was thin and not gloppy.
I ended the meal with an excellent cappuccino, flavorful but not butter and nice and frothy with Mulberry crepes filled with ricotta and covered in Berry compote with dabs of whipped cream.
Every ones food, even the kids pizza was above and beyond.
I will be back often and recommend it to all my friends

I can honestly say our meal was very good....what I liked was that it wasn't overly salted like many places and everything we tasted was true to itself you could honestly taste the food and not over powering seasonings.....a baby shower was just leaving and they were a bit busy but the wait staff was very much on the ball...the waitress we had was very sweet and really kept an eye on things and we told her we would definitely be back again soon.....my only comment is the music......doesn't fit with the "theme" of the restaurant and was a bit over the top and overwhelming....something less jazz and toned down would be better....or even Pandora Italian Food Music...honest it's a station on Pandora....we will be seeing you again soon no matter what though and plan on bringing others with us....thanks for a wonderful meal and wonderful service we are hooked!

The best Italian restaurant I've been to!!! I went yesterday with my co-worker, and I loved it. The food was awesome! The martinis were awesome! The dessert was awesome!complete awesomeness � I loved the environment of the restaurant. Note: I so happened to come on karaoke night, so that was even better. I will definitely be recommending this place to everyone I know. Btw, Chris.. your an awesome server!!!

We had a great girls night out learned how to make mozzarella, had a few drinks and alot of laughs. Looking forward to rice balls. Oh I forgot Chief Paul even fed us. It was well worth the time and money. Chief is great and staff is excellent. Good time was had by all. See you in July

Was just there this evening for dinner for the first time. We had Desiree as our waitress and she was very personable and efficient. Food was excellent, sangria was good, dessert was great too! We will definitely be back...we found our new Italian spot!

Took my grandmother here for Thanksgiving dinner today. Food was traditional Thanksgiving fare but very good! Waitress was excellent and other wait staff very attentive and offered assistance, as well. Have been here one other time and service and meal was very good. Will come back soon. Only thing I would suggest is easier access with the entrance for my 98 year grandmother who uses a rolater (rolling walker). She gets along well but would have been easier for her if there was a ramp. She was extremely pleased with her meal and cleaned her plate!

The food was average. I was definitely expecting more flavorful food from an authentic Italian restaurant. Service was okay, I guess. The waiter was professional yet seemed a bit condescending; as if he had never seen, much less served hispanics before. Nonetheless, we tipped generously. Maybe he just had a bad day. Who knows....
The red sangria was pretty good. The flourless chocolate cake was nothing special, but very overpriced ($10) for just a slice of normal chocolate cake. The imports are also extremely overpriced. Almost $7 for a Heineken. Overall, my experience was average. Definitely not a place I would visit twice.

Good food, attentive wait staff, very nice restaurant. Had to ask for a knife but other than that, no issues. We will go back. Oh, and I ordered the Veal Saltimboca - very large portion. Brought home 1/2!! My fiance had the salmon which he said was excellent.
