Visited Katz's Deli today in the late afternoon for a takeout order. I arrived at approximately 3:30 p.m. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant and at least three staff members hanging around. I approached the counter and ordered a simple sandwich. Roast turkey on a hard roll with lettuce,
This place is so good. I wish the had one in California. The pastrami is so good. The matzah ball soup is one of my favorites. The briscut is also very meaty. Yum.
Why wouldn't this restaurant be 5 stars? As a transplanted New Yorker, this is the place to go for great deli and nosh! The corned beef on rye was delish and the potato salad to die for. I can't wait to try more items from this extensive and varied menu.
Cute ambience for indoor dining too.
The food was good. The staff were very professional. Other than the 45 minuit wait for the food which they compensated us for. I will go back again.
The salad was good and the portion large, but it wasn't anything to bring me back. My waitress completely forgot that I had ordered something to go, brought a to go box and left the check...unimpressed
It was exactly what I have heard about Kat'z. The service was excellent food was beyond my expectation. I will definitely be going back. Oh by the way I ordered the Pastrami Ruben you have to get it.
Love katz- everything is delicious + it’s so nice that they have gluten free options! This wrap was gluten free and delicious!
