Food was fresh and just like home made cooking. The staff was friendly and like any good Filipino place felt like talking to family. Will definitely stop in again next time I am in the city. The Place is busy but the wait is not long. Great for groups. Portions are sharable. Drinks are made fresh.

My Go-To place for home cooking style Filipino food in Queens. My family and I have been coming here ever since this place opened in the 90s. Always have to get an order of sago at gulaman, lumpiang Shanghai, tapsilog and the BBQ Chicken meal with garlic fried rice. The halo halo here is also good but I just never have room after stuffing myself silly. The service is OK, not stellar, but that's what you can expect from these kind of joints. They're always super nice so that's a plus. I brought my group of friends here for lunch and would keep introducing this place to any of my non Filipino friends if they ever want to try authentic Filipino food. The prices are also great. 4 of us all had entrees, drinks and 2 appetizers to share and the bill was $100.

I have been coming to Renee’s for many many years. I love their “silog” combos specially the fried longganisa. For me, it is the best on the menu. The combination of flavors are perfect, not too sweet and not too salty. The side vinegar adds the perfect tanginess. The outside skin is super crispy and yet the inside is moist. I just love it and I wish I could cook my longganisa like that at home. This weekend I also tried their lumpiang sariwa and tokwa’t baboy. The lumpia was just OK. The fresh wrapper was a little too thick to my liking. The veggies and sauce also lack flavor. The tokwa’t baboy was also just OK. I’ve had better version else where. The tokwa was crispy but lacks the vinegar flavor. The baboy kinda tastes like adobo with “umay” factor. I will definitely stick with my silog combos.

Good authentic Filipino food, poor ventilation. We sat near the back and the smoke from the kitchen was overpowering the dining area. Tables are also a bit tight. Some pieces of the chicken adobo was cold in the middle so I’m assuming it was possibly frozen and reheated. The garlic fried rice was good albeit a little on the dry side. The pata and sisig were delicious. I also got the halo halo. First time having it and it was really good. The restaurant was packed and it’s first come first serve. Good takes a bit a while for it to come out so be prepared to wait when it’s busy.

Definitely not one of those pretentious establishments that offer Filipino fare, Renee's actually delivers on quality Filipino comfort food -- with generous servings and at affordable prices, too. What they lack in frills they more than make up for in scrumptious dishes that are, if not close to authentic. Filipino (Pampangueño, to be exact) cuisine at its best! Warm service, ice-cold beers, upstairs seating for private functions, and a homey feel all add up to a casual dining experience you'd love to return to, and enjoy again and again.

Always great to come here. The food is always good. Don’t pay any attention about the rating. Never had problems with the food. Staff are always attentive and kind.

Very very good. I got the BBQ combo plate! I'm a BBQ lover from St. Louis MO and I wanted to come check out Filipino barbecue while I was in NYC. I am very impressed; the pork was some of the best I've ever had! With the vinegar to dip it in! Oh my goodness. I wish I could come back to try more.

Each Filipino restaurant in Little Manila Queens is unique in their own way. Renee’s uniqueness comes from their bbq platters and most notable of them all is their bbq longganisa. Their bbq longganisa will make you question why not all longganisa is cooked this way. The smokiness of the longganisa, the charred bits and the tender meat makes this experience very worthwhile. Longganisa is meant to be cooked this way and Renee’s perfected it.

me and my sweetie went to Renee’s bc we were craving filipino food. walking in, the atmosphere is instantly so comfortable and warm. we ordered the dasilog (fried milkfish) and the mixed grill plate. the dasilog was perfectly crispy. the grill plate has a huge amount of meat and they all were great - I especially loved the longensia, which was very sweet in a great way from the bbq sauce. the folks who worked there were so friendly! I learned they’ve been open for the last 30 years, what a special neighborhood spot.

Good freshly cooked home-made Filipino food. The portions are good for sharing, but they're not huge.

Renee’s is a ( Capampangan ) Pampanga restaurant and with little shop selling Philippine delicacies and gift items. The place is small but has a lot of yummy and comfort foods. The Arroz Caldo is super yummy and Tinolang Manok is the best soup ever especially at this time of cold season, these delicacies are really comfort food to soot your hungry cravings. They sell some groceries all food stuffs and also take outs. As always Filipino hospitality are always warm and staffs here still can smile at you with happy faces though overworked. This place gets jam packed most of the time especially on weekends. I can highly recommend, price is right and for sure will come back when in town.

My family and I have been coming to Renee’s for years. At one point they occupied two stories but alas, they now only have the ground floor open for the restaurant. The décor is homey with the various kitschy, handmade Pinoy decorations on the wall, some of which they sell. The restaurant is small and has about ten tables squeezed inside. On the weekends, they get quite crowded especially during lunch. Renee’s consistently offers good food. Dishes are authentic and taste homemade. No frills type of food that stands on taste alone. The menu is surprisingly extensive given that it’s listed on two pages. They offer the usual classic items like adobo, lumpia and kare kare. But when I go with my family, we usually order one of the samplers to get as many varieties of dishes on the table as possible. Or sometimes we order one of the bilao platters. The bilao platters are the filipino version of a po pu platter. There are 4 options to choose from and this will feed about 4-10 people, depending on the option you choose. There are some great dishes worth trying here. One of my favorites is the sisig. Delicious! The meat has just the right amount of fattiness and crispiness. The dish comes sizzling to your table and is so freaking good. Another great dish is the lumpiang frito or fried spring rolls filled with shrimp, pork and veggies. It comes with a garlic vinegar dipping sauce that is perfectly matched. They offer weekday and weekend specials for around $9 which includes your choice of two dishes (from a list entrees), along with rice, soup and soda, coffee or tea. Save some room as they also offer a lot of options for hot and cold drinks, smoothies and desserts. There are some unusual options being offered here like the frozen yema shake or the leche con hielo drink. Overall, this restaurant delivers on food and I plan to continue to grace this establishment.

Just perfect. I ordered tinapasilog and it was amazing. The fish was crispy and delicious, the rice was fluffy and aromatic, with runny eggs and muted acidity and sweetness from the vinegar. Somehow everything on the plate was cooked in oil and nothing felt greasy.
