The food is so delicious and affordable. I brought my Filipino mom here when she visited me in New York, and she said this is the best Filipino restaurant she has eaten here in NYC. The people are also so nice and friendly and generous. I definitely will come back and bring my friends here.
Monday lunch about 2pm. Greeted by friendly staff and a great table location. About 12-15 others are dining as well. Really tastee. Authentic Grill is close to my wife's cooking ( she's still the best ) šŸ˜. Comfort food at it's finest.
This Filipino restaurant is a gem. The food is great. Each plate came with rice. Or sub garlic rice for extra. Lechon sisig was great. Wish it came with more peppers. Served on a sizzling plate as per usual. Fried tilapia was on point. Perfectly fried. Eat all the bones too. Pork bbq skewers are
Went on here on the recommendation of my barber and wasnā€™t disappointed. Having never been to the Philippines and not having any Filipino family I had no idea what to order so my buddy and I went for the platter and as an aftertizer (since we were coming from a hike) we ordered the pork belly. Will
Went with a group of 12, and luckily, they had seating. Prices are decent, good selection is varied, and the place is small, yet quaint. We ordered 2 platters, and it was amazing. It was my first time having Filipino food, and everything tasted great! I'd love to eat here again!
Recommended by a friend. You walk upstairs and feel like you entered a Filipina auntieā€™s home. Feels very cozy. The food was delicious. Lechon was so crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
Possibly my favorite Filipino restaurant in Queens. Good, hearty comforting food. Get the lechon kawali for that perfectly crisp and crunchy bite šŸ¤¤ Servings are generous and the staff is so warm. Entrance is a bit confusing - door on the left is for pick ups, door to the right leads to the stairs an
Itā€™s very traditional Filipino food. Upside: decent bbq and lots of meat. Too much. Downside: long wait. For food and for table. They take rsvp for larger group. Food - they are good. Either grilled and packed with sweet. They canā€™t go bad for that. You will end with a sugar high easily. Beside tha
Huge portions affordably priced! We came in an hour before closing and they kindly seated us and served us in no time at all, food came piping hot and everything was so amazing it really wowed us. The sisig was the best Iā€™ve ever had! And the skewers were perfectly cooked and tender, way better than
Restaurant is located in the 2nd floor so you just walk up the stairs. Came here around 6 pm on a Friday and was able to get seated. It got busier throughout the evening with every table full by the time we left. Staff is friendly here and they accept credit cards (one card per table). For food, we
My Lola told me she wanted me to try her favourite restaurant. This area has a little Filipino community that my Grandmother loves. So of course Iā€™d be eager to visit. The food was delicious! Service was so fast. Everyone was so friendly, lively, and lovely. Iā€™ll definitely be coming back, the food
Ventured out to Queens from Jersey City for an authentic Filipino Food, and was not disappointed. 10/10 for the food. We ordered Lechon, lumpia, pork bbq, chicken bbq, pancit, sisig, sinagang and sizzling steak. Service was also AMAZING. Cannot rave about this place enough. Will definitely be back!!
Just delicious Filipino cuisine. Hands down!šŸ˜‹šŸ¤¤Itā€™s worth the 2 hour trip. Excellent customer service. Parking is a challenge though. Weā€™ve been coming here from out of state and every time, we have to go around the block a few times to get parking on the side street, even on a Sunday. I donā€™t know i
Ordered the ihawan sampler, sisig with egg, kare-kare, and sinigang na hipon. Total came to $70 (not counting tip), table for 3. Overall food was good but I wasn't blown away by anything. Felt like the dishes could have been more flavorful. I give the meal a 7/10. Felt like the price was high for wh
Great place to try filipino food. One of the best place to try filipino style barbeque. Better to call ahead for reservation, the place gets really packed. The staff are really friendly and courteous. The only complain that I have is we have to wait like 20 mins for the food. I honestly think the p
