Probably the best Filipino bakery in NY/NJ area. The breads and pastries makes you miss home. Ube breads are the best! Location: It is located in Roosevelt along all the Filipino stores and restaurants. The taho are outside of the store. Service: she was nice. Filipino hospitality at its best! Food: The breads are delicious, fluffy and still good after few days. UBE PANDESAL: to me this was the best I had unlike online seller this has visible cheese and ube jam inside the bread. Heat it up in the microwave for 10 seconds and devour its goodness. TAHO: how i miss taho in the Philippines, this breakfast drink is all about my country. Those soft tofu top with boba and syrup is just what I want in my life. Lol. Price rating: 5/10, not that bad for Filipino food cravings. Definitely will eat more here and try more of their breads!! Definitely try ube pandesal and taho!!

A sweet day starter in the ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ comes in the form of steamed rice cakes ๐Ÿš๐Ÿง aka ๐—ฃ๐˜‚๐˜๐—ผ and ๐—ž๐˜‚๐˜๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฎ. These were snacks I would grab and go when time was limited. The street vendors would usually have both on hand, with Kutsinta being the stickier and darker แถ สณแต’แต แต—สฐแต‰ แต‡สณแต’สทโฟ หขแต˜แตแตƒสณ of the two. In ๐™ป๐š’๐š๐š๐š•๐šŽ ๐™ผ๐šŠ๐š—๐š’๐š•๐šŠ (๐š†๐š˜๐š˜๐š๐šœ๐š’๐š๐šŽ ๐š€๐šž๐šŽ๐šŽ๐š—๐šœ), this bakeshop made a 2-in-1 version, giving you a light cake on top (puto) with a chewy base (kutsinta). The secret is the lye water ๐Ÿ’ง (sodium hydroxide) that raises the pH levels for a firmer texture in all the right areas (๐‘ท๐’“๐’†๐’•๐’›๐’†๐’๐’” ๐’‚๐’๐’… Add a shakoy (twisted donut) and some coffee, now that's how to start your day! What is your favorite ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ snack?

I ordered the Cebu-style Lechon, amazingly, it was super delicious! You can taste the well-seasoned and tenderness of the pork, and the crispiness of the pig's skin ! Itโ€™s just the best lechon in NY!

Good choices and variety you can find here. I had their pork sinigang and dinuguan this time. Less customers for some reason. And it's less noisy even if the TVs are on and showing Philippine TV shows. But come here to check out Filipino foods.

The place where other pinoys will look at you from head to toe identifying you (if they know you somewhere) and checking if you are illegal or legal immigrant here in this country :P . Undoubtedly a real pinoy place! BTW, food is great, cheap but still delicious. Great for stacking weekly food to heat and serve.

Weekends are the best in this place! Get your lechon fix... what? you dont know what a lechon is? It's a roasted whole pig! You can get the lechon either by the pound or as a "meal special" where some 8 bucks gets you some lechon, white rice and a can of soda. This place is my go-to for home cooked meals, as the food is cafeteria style so you can see exactly what you are getting before they scoop some onto your plate. When you see some innocent looking rolls on the counter, ask if it is the Ube pastel. These "innocent rolls" are stuffed with ube inside and they cost 50 cents each. Mmm.
