This place is almost a town center for Sky Londa, which is almost a town. It is kind of a great cross roads and pit stop for the motorcycle enthusiasts and folk heading to the myriad parks and beaches nearby.
The place itself can be rented out for events. It is a popular place for a wedding, one of which I attended years ago.
"Next door" is gas, public bathrooms, a restaurant and a general store.
The cross roads are often full of the various types of tourist and has a nice energy. Crowds are mostly white and Asian, but not exclusively. It has that tourist trap feel (and those prices) but everyone is welcome.
I've worked as a photographer at The Mountain Terrace a handful of times over the past two years and can just say that it is one of my absolute favorite venues. Every wedding is so different, but the deck keeps a really intimate backyard feel throughout the reception for friends and family to really spend quality time together. The ceremony site facing redwoods is SO beautiful and the redwood grove on site makes for some beautiful portraits at any time of day. Not to mention how incredibly sweet and thoughtful the entire staff is. I have felt so lucky to work at such a gorgeous wedding venue and look forward to working here again!!
Beautiful scenery in the red trees and good food. But very close to a big intersection and lots of loud engines driving by. But overall a nice place for an outdoor wedding

I have been professionally DJing weddings for over 20 years and have played many venues throughout the Bay Area. Mountain Terrace is easily my favorite place to play. Aside from the beautiful location with breathtaking views, the staff is top notch and totally on top of their game. Their attention to detail is impeccable. Brooke and company run a tight ship, know exactly what needs to happen and how to best execute a plan of action. They ask all the right questions and make super helpful suggestions throughout the entire process. As a vendor, communication and keeping me in the loop is key to running a smooth event. I always feel confident that I will be kept abreast as to what needs to happen (announcements, music cues, special moments, etc.) well in advance so that I can be ready when the time comes. As for the food, it is always superb and much, much better than the usual wedding caterer fare. I have played some very high-end venues whose food pales by comparison. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Trust your special day to the staff at Mountain Terrace. You will be in very good, capable hands for your special day.

Mountain Terrace is amazing! The views are gorgeous, the staff is very kind and attentive and the food is SO good! There are so many options for guests, between the gorgeous deck, the cozy fire pit, the cool bar and the dance floor, all your guests can find a spot to enjoy the evening. You can't go wrong! Love love love this venue.
Lovely venue surrounded by nature, trees, grassy meadow, great back yard deck, and a pleasant interior as well.
The Mountain Terrace is a hidden gem that should be a the top of your wedding venue list. Terrific staff, great food, doting coordinator, awesome indoors / outdoors combination with gorgeous redwoods. Just far enough to have a destination wedding in a magical forest - but without having to travel. Call them, go visit them, you won't regret it!
