This venue is charming, and immaculate with high quality food and service! Our waitperson JoJo was attentive, enthusiastic, efficient and friendly. Our food was absolutely delicious. The fresh, homemade bread was out of this world as was the fine dipping olive oil. The main courses we enjoyed were creative and cooked to perfection. Dessert was amazing. See photos below. Highly recommend! Will definitely return again and again.

One of must try Italian restaurants in Woodstock. They open late until 9pm, have a private parking lot. The cute & cosy house amazed me @ first look! Food is delicious, we tried the roasted half duck in special menu, very good 👍. I love the tables outside but it s a little cold so we decided to stay inside, they have the heater outside anw! Highly recommended when you are around in Woodstock, we visited on monday’s night but it is very crowded though :)

The ambiance is definitely on the nicer side, where the decor looks elegant, warm, and welcoming. The staff and service were also very nice and speedy! The corn chowder special was tasty but felt a bit lacking where, as you can see in the photo, is only half full. The mussel special on Tuesdays was also a bit small for its price, where we counted around 15-16 pieces for 21 dollars, averaging a dollar and change per piece. The sauce that accompanied the mussel was on the sour side, which I personally would like it to be more garlicky or buttery than sour. The prickly pear yuzu drink was my personal favorite and I highly recommend it! The bolognese ricotta pasta was so incredibly flavorful that I literally couldn't stop eating it...even though it is my wife who ordered it haha. Our server, Briella, was so sweet, kind, and friendly that she literally made our dining experience so much more enjoyable! Our ribeye steak had some issues where it was first over cooked to well-done when we asked for medium-rare. Briella apologized and did her best to remedy it by requesting another one be made. However, the second one came out overly rare and Briella once again apologized profusely, which showed us that she really cared that we got what we requested. She never once argued with us or tried to persuade us that we were wrong, nor was she ever defensive about it; truly illustrating what customer-oriented service really looks like. Ultimately they were able to remedy it and the ribeye came out delicious with its herbed aioli! We want to take this moment to thank Briella for her diligence, care, and consideration in making our meal as perfect as it can be! Thank you, Briella, for being such an amazing server and for demonstrating what exemplary service looks like! We will definitely come back to try their many other delicious looking options! Definitely highly recommend the prickly pear yuzu soda and the bolognese! Thank you so much for reading and best of luck! (:

Strings of hanging fiesta lights draw one's attention to the big yellow house with an ample front porch. If you are lucky enough to have a reservation, you are in for a treat- "from soup to nuts". The basil cooler cocktail caught my eye for starters. It did take 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive, one at a time, which was an unfortunate way to start our evening. Our server Sean, was attentive and apologetic but the bar was swamped, as he said. Diners know that if one is promptly served a cocktail and a piece of bread, waiting is no longer an issue. Our meal was absolutely worth the wait! The risotto with lobster, scallops and saffron was perfectly prepared with all the care and attention it takes for a proper risotto. The delicate flavors lingered on my tongue long enough to make me smile! All the dishes were of the same caliber, with another special mention - of the affogato desert - on a plate with the words "Happy Anniversary" written in script with fudge sauce around the border! Thank you to all the staff at Cucina for a lovely evening!

It's always pleasant to dine at Cucina. The ambiance is polished and attractive, service is gracious, and the food is mostly very good. I had a very delicious risotto with scallops and corn that was terrific. My companion had the old fashioned chicken parm with pasta; he thought the red sauce was too sweet and I tasted it and agreed. For dessert we shared a very delicious fig and buttermilk tart. The portions are generous and the prices are moderate by recent standards.

Great pasta and meatballs. Ambience is also good, well staffed. With plenty of craft cocktails definitely a good place to have a dinner in the Woodstock area. Tried the special fettuccine carbonara and the linguine with tomato jalapeño sauce pictured. Both were great !! The meatballs were even better!!

If you’re looking for a place to have an amazing meal in a pretty spot go to Cucina. I’ve had many dinners there and they never fail to impress on the food and the atmosphere is elegant farmhouse. Delicious Italian food from farm to table. The wait staff are so upbeat and kind. The experience is great from all angles. I always enjoy their homemade soda of lemon and thyme. They have a small bar area that you can sit and relax before or after dinner. Cucina is always the highlight of my Woodstock stays, and I’ve built the most special memories in that historic farmhouse. Cucina is perfect for a romantic dinner or a meal with a group of friends alike

My hubby & I were celebrating his birthday in were staying in a nearby town for a couple of days. We decided to drive to this restaurant since it wasn’t too far. The exterior & interior were so lovely & felt like walking into someone’s home. The gnocchi was very delicious and the salmon w/ mashed potatoes were good. The cheesecake and tiramisu were fantastic and I would definitely come back for those alone. I loved that it wasn’t crazy busy when we came in compared to the nyc restaurants I’m used to. The staff was nice but Chloe was such a bubbly sweetheart & it made our experience that much better. We would definitely come back!!

On a bright sunshiny although blustery and unseasonably cool June 22 day hunger and proximity brought me to Cucina in Woodstock NY. I chose to sit on the lovely wisteria vined porch. I craved the NY strip steak which comes with thin shoe string French fries and a small lightly dressed pile of arugula. I had a glass of French red and a fresh Oj. I hadn’t eaten all day so I was really hungry and thirsty too. They offered bread with my meal but I live GF so when I declined my waitress told me about their GF pizza crust as an alternative. It’s made with cauliflower ,tapioca flour, yeast etc.. when baked its sprinkled with rosemary and flake salt then served with olive oil for dipping. It was delicious. My steak was perfectly cooked, at my requested MR ,flavorful and juicy . The shoe string French fries were hot ,crispy and perfectly seasoned. Arugula is arugula but with the cilantro sauce ,served for the steak, was perfect to balance out the bitter greens. The furnaces were set up as the evening progressed but fortunately for me , who had zero plans for dining out, they sell warm clothing brandishing their name! Wait staff and the manager were very helpful and efficient. The porch became more crowded but I was blissfully enjoying every bite of my meal. I didn’t eat too many fries because I saw the specials. One of the specials was a rhubarb strawberry crisp with vanilla ice cream.. I gave in. When asked if I liked it I happened to be tearfully remembering my deceased relatives who I shared this with in times past.. This dessert was delicious as the blend of tart and sweet with creamy and nutty bites evoked emotions I hadn’t expected! Food should reach your heart and this meal did all of that for me.
