So, I see a lot of people complaining on here about sunset, that being said I think we all need to consider where you are before you expect to be treated like you are in a fine dining restaurant. This is a neighborhood/locals hang out. Everyone here is SO NICE if you are ever unhappy with your service please just tell your server or ask to speak to Jazmine, the manager. When you go on a Saturday at 6pm you has the same idea as everyone else on here the lake, and in my experience anytime the kitchen gets backed up the server will let you know before hand that the kitchen is a little behind because of the dinner rush. The kitchen is a little small but those guys back there work their tails off and turn out some pretty delicious bar food. I've never seen this place be dirty as some people have claimed, I've been there at close and watch them wash them entire deck, not just sweep and wipe tables but wash the whole thing. I love sunset and everyone that works there, lol this is why they earn roughly 10% of my annual income every summer �
Food is great! I really wish everyone could understand about service in the restaurant business when everyone comes at the same time and there are only so many servers and so many people working in the kitchen it is to be expected to have to wait. Look around you next time before you judge so harshly the servers and the kitchen staff are working very hard to get you taken care of. Yes it may take an hour for your food or an unexpected wait time for your server but if you go to a busy restaurant and you have to wait an hour to be seated it's basically the same thing. This is a great restaurant and we should feel so lucky to have such a nice place on the lake.
Great food! Haven’t been here in awhile and the food has improved so much. Chicken tacos are on point!

Eleven of us went on a Saturday around 1pm, the day before Easter. We sat down immediately and had a waitress taken our order before we could get situated. She had taken the kids orders (mostly teenagers) before the adults could figure what we wanted. The kids had their food on the table within 10 minutes and ours came out shortly after. Our waitress was constantly checking on our table, refilling drinks and making sure we didn’t need anything. As far as I could tell everyone was fine with their food. Mine was really good. I’m just glad we had a good experience after reading what many others had to say about this place. Hopefully it’s under new management now!
The food is good for bar food, the wings are excellent!! The staff is friendly, young and try hard. This is a great place to unwind after a day on the water. We watched live music on Saturday with a packed house. The clientele was attractive and ones we met were VERY friendly! It's not the Ritz, it's not supposed to be. Unwind with a beer, some food and enjoy the people watching.
Our waitress was Kate and the service was excellent !!! She made recommendations for the entrées that were excellent !!! It came out pretty fast and was hot and good !! Perfect lakeside grill while enjoying a great day at the lake :)
Sunset Grill is now open!!!Was at Sunset last night for dinner . Service was great, burger was good (huge portions) and the beer was cold!
Don't forget to ask about their buckets...."bucket list for sure!"
We liked it. It’s not fancy. It’s a waterfront nothing fancy but nice restaurant. We were able to have our dog with us while we ate. Samuel our server was fantastic and the appetizers were great. We had margaritas that were great. If you’re looking for fine dining this isn’t it. However if you’re looking for somewhere to have a bite to eat and a good cocktail with nice servers this is it!
Great wait staff, the lake view is awesome and cold fresh beer! Not to mention great place to come off the boat to stretch and recharge. Food was nice and hot. I definitely recommend this local spot.
We came to the restaurant in our friend's boat for sunset and sat out ion the deck. It was fantastic!
I had the Mahi fish tacos and my wife had a mango salad and the food was very delicious also. I highly recommend that you try this special experience!
I can’t tell you how much I adore this place. Always great food. Drinks are fantastic and they have a really great staff. They are incredibly efficient for a lakeside restaurant.

The food was good. The service was a bit slow, but it wasn't really an issue for us. We weren't in a hurry. I definitely think it's improved since the last time we were here (2yrs ago).
Food was great, drinks were awesome! Shane, we thank you very much for the hospitality during our wedding weekend! Much love from the bride and groom! We will come check yall out again!
