I received cheerful service from the girl at the cash register, and enjoyed the open wi-fi while I waited for my order, clam chowder and roasted corn chowder to go. The roasted corn chowder was smooth and creamy and perfect for a chilly day like today.

Good food for the price, but CASH ONLY. Be prepared. Also, the lobster roll was not worth it, better make the trek out to the shore to get a good one. But the fried clams and burgers were great for the value! We also had a great time hanging out by the river. The locale is excellent.

Better than Mountain Creamery and the Mad Hatter's Scoops. Staff are friendlier and the ice cream is more affordable. Only downside being that you're out of luck if you've only got a credit card on you. Other than that, great place. Loved the 1950's aesthetic.

Great pitstop for a burger and fries that we heard about from a couple friendly local folks during our escapades in Woodstock. Awesome picnic area that runs along the stream that flows through town was an added perk. They seem to be very busy but working hard to fill the orders and keep patrons happ

I've been eating at The White Cottage for 20+ years and think their cheeseburger is the best I've had anywhere. Their food is very consistently good and their service is always fast. I highly recommend The White Cottage for lunch or dinner or just for ice cream. Great place!

Cool little shop. Ice cream was good. They have a variety of flavors (hard and soft serve). They also serve food but I didn't get any. Looked like they had seefood and other variety of comfort foods.

Loved this place is right in the river and is laid back. Food is very reasonable and they have great ice cream! It is cash only but they do have a ATM inside. There is inside seating and outside seating. Awesome place!!!
