First time we've ever gone was today! Heard it was amazing and it really was! We went for the tamale buffet! Highly recommend trying it! Come hungry, tamales really fill you up fast! Kind and attentive staff too! Even the owner was there checking on our experience! We will definitely be back! Definitely enjoyed it! We'll have to try your taco � Tuesday next!!!
These tamales were delicious, best I've ever had. I had the black bean and cheese, the shredded beef, and the sweet corn. I was really impressed with the amount of meat in the beef one. I got a taste of the red chicken too. All were amazing, but the sweet corn was the star! I went yesterday afternoon... any food I've put in my mouth since has been unsatisfactory. I'm currently fighting my urge to go get take out right now.
This place is fantastic. I've had a hard time finding good tamales at restaurants and this place is as good as homemade ones. Full of meat and sauce and delicious flavor. Highly recommend the chicken green, but I want to try the other more unique ones next time!
I'm originally from California and no one makes tamales fat and full of meat with sauce like California but now after years of searching here in Grand Rapids, Michigan I have run across this place and there is no sparing the meat nor the sauce it's prepared with and they are nice and moist not dried out or mushy and they're not old they're freshly made. I'm impressed and recommend it to all. Almost reminds me of the homemade tamales Mama used to make.

We went for the tamales buffet this Wednesday and were really impressed. It is a super good deal for the amount of quality food you get. There is such a vast variety of choices. Wil definitely have to return to try all the options and visit on a Tuesday for the taco buffet!
I saw the clip on facebook from TV13 and tried today for the first time. Very Very Very good, The store was clean, the staff is very friendly. I did the 12 for $18 and chose a bunch of different kinds, all were very tasty and very filling. I barely could finish 2. Well worth the money, I highly recommend. Definitely will be back again!

Tamale buffet Wednesday was excellent. 7 entree flavors and 3 dessert, though they were out of the pineapple ones by 2pm. The salsa bar's fresh salsa and guac were excellent as well. Beef, pork, and pork rib tamales were fantastic, chicken good and shrimp ok. Jarritos of course to drink. The two fresh sauces, red and green were excellent as well. It's not fancy but boy is it good. Going back for taco buffet Tuesday soon.
Best tamales in a restaurant setting I've ever had. We tried chicken red, pork red, chicken green, shredded beef, bell pepper and cheese, (which ended up being my favourite,) and corn, as well as rice. Tamales are my favorite food and usually only get them if friends or churches are selling them. I'll go back, can't wait. Service was great and everyone was friendly.
The buffet was loaded with a good variety of excellent foods, though I would have liked if there were tamale samples in the buffet. Tamales were also good. Most importantly, the staff was exceedingly friendly and charming. Great experience, and I will go again.

I ordered 2 pollo verde(green chicken) tamales with rice and beans. They were very well cooked I haven’t had tamales in since my grandma and I would make them years ago now, so when I found this place on the maps I was excited and they did amazing! Thanks for the meal!
Hands down the best pork tacos I have had in the grand rapids area. I have tried many of their offerings and been happy with everything. The restaurant itself would go a lot further for dine in with a little renovating, but takeout seems to be a popular option. Only once had a small issue with an order being incorrect, they responded quickly to resolve it and were happy to make it right. I stop in about once a week now to order takeout and it will be my go to taco place for the foreseeable future.
Best tamales I’ve ever had. The tamale buffet offers a number of different kinds(fav was the chorizo). It also has menudo, tortilla chips with amazing salsas on it. Been here a few times now and it’s always amazing. Disregard the atmosphere the tamales are worth it.
So nice coming to a restaurant in Wyoming with competent staff, great food, and excellent service! Awesome food, staff helped me out with some things I didn't know, everything was fresh and fantastic. Plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options. Don't speak Spanish? No problem. If you're eating lunch elsewhere in the area you're making a mistake. You can order after arriving and still be out faster than pre-ordering at Chipotle. Wall Street is trash at Mexican food. The shrimp tamale is outstanding .... followed by Red chicken & Mole chicken. Food is very flavorful.

We ate the all you can eat tamale special on a Wednesday. It was delicious. There were so many options of tamales ( i would guess 10 or so) and a ton of various toppings, refried beans and rice, and a few small desserts. Everything tasted wonderful. This is a local small kitchen where food is made traditionally and with love.

We came for the lunch buffet. Two of us 8 for $16 with a coupon. It's a great deal. There are several options without being overwhelming. I particularly liked the ribs and the variety of toppings.
The person who served us was not all that friendly, but helped us all the same. The restaurant is clean.
about the only thing that I didn't care for a while eating is that there was a TV with a movie going on which made it hard to focus on conversation. The cooks had some pleasant music going on. It would be nice to have that in the dining room too.
