Review Taco Casa - Wyomissing

I love the food here but I was wondering has it been open since COVID someone please comment!!!

This place used to be great. I’ve been coming here for almost 30 years. Unfortunately, the lady behind the counter does not want your business and it shows. The beans in the bean burrito are hard and tastes bad. Everything is pre-made and microwaved when you order. I don’t think I’ll ever eat here again because of too many bad experiences. I just keep thinking that it will get better, but every time it’s the same garbage.

We love this place and today everything was different. First, I waited until 11:25 until the lady came into work. The old guy can't work the register and I understand. I didn't get upset; I just waited patiently. I get the food home and the meat was off and mushy and my wife found a hard plastic piece in her taco. So disappointing.

First off I just want to say it pains me to give them this kind of review. If it was 10 years ago they would have a five-star rating from me. I think about a year-and-a-half two years ago they changed everything. The meat is cheaper and doesn't taste right even the soft shell corn shells taste weird like they are just cheaper. I believe they even changed the cheese. If you're reading this and you are the owner or affiliated with this place at all please just go back to what you did 10 years ago or even 5 years ago. I used to think these were the best American style tacos around and now they don't even compete with Taco Bell and that's sad considering I was one of the main supporters of this place. My friends would tell me how much they didn't like your food and I would always stick up for you guys. This is coming from a guy who ate at Taco Casa when it was located downstairs in the Berkshire Mall near the pet store way back in the day and the Fairgrounds Mall location throughout my entire life and childhood. I have put on every girlfriend and friend I have had over the years on to these tacos also my daughter and anyone else I can push them on because I believed they were the best American style taco around. At one point they were better than Taco Bell and there was no doubt about that. I don't know why you would cheapen your food just to save a couple bucks when you could keep doing things the way you were at least then you're saving face right now you are losing respect from everyone who grew up eating your food. Someone please find the owner and talk some sense into him. I sat down today and had two tacos just to try them because I love them so much and every time I go to order I cross my fingers hoping they taste the way they used to and every time I am let down. The only thing that taste the same is the sauce and honestly I think that's even off a little bit. It's really sad to see a place that I loved so much go to hell, excuse my French. Just remember if you are the owner I love your tacos I thought they were the best thing since sliced bread I would really appreciate if you would do me and your many other loyal patrons a favor and go back to doing things the right way. Thank you! Looks like I'm going to Taco Bell ew... and now with places like let's Taco bout it and the many amazing Taco joints in the city it's really not even worth going to this place honestly I'm not a big fan of Moe's but I would go there over Taco Casa and let's not forget about Chipotle or On the Border. What's really sad is that I have stuck up for these guys my entire life and I have argued with people until I was blue in the face about how good these tacos were compared to places like Taco Bell and they just let me down. Please guys can we do something about this?

Just literally found a screw in my Sanchillada. Lady was not phased. I have pictures and everything. Turns out they aren't even affiliated with the actual franchise according to franchise website.

There was only one guy working there and he kept taking more orders while we waited for him to make our food. Probably waited a half hour. Wont go back.

BEST TACOS IN THE WORLD, BESIDES MINE WHEN I'M IN MY KITCHEN.

It's about the Hot sauce! The extra hot is delicious!
