I got a tornado burger, with fries and a piece of tiramisu. I was a bit taken back by the price at first. $25 in total. However, that was THE best tiramisu I have ever had! I try tiramisu, every chance I get, and nothing was as decadent as this!! The burger was surprisingly amazing! I did not expect to like it as much as I did! I will definitely be back.
The best pastries and food in yelm! π₯° I've never had wraps, burgers, pastries as good as this! I wish I could have a piece of everything every day π staff super friendly, unfortunately I didn't get to try the new dine in... everything was to go only, but even like that everything is SO GOOD!!!!
Have only been here twice and already in love!! Had a Ruben today and it was hands down the best I've ever had it could imagine! Meat thick cut from brisket not shaved... Homemade bread and everything else!! If I had a pint to go with us swear I walked into Irish Heaven! π

We decided to go North to Sumner through Yelm taking the country roads home on a beautiful sunny NW day. I randomly googled the Masonry cafe and used their address to guide me into downtown Yelm... We called the cafe and spoke to a very friendly young lady and asked if they were serving lunch as well as catering... They have a very small area in which to have a seat if you want to eat in and while we were sitting there we noticed that most of the locals call in their orders and pick up... They were so accommodating (even added a space heater for my 89 year-old mother)...we enjoyed sitting in the cafe eating our lunch especially when our view was the most tempting pastry case.
Now about the food. We shared an absolutely delicious Reuben sandwich. (It was also absolutely grande). The choice to use fresh cafe-made sourdough bread was a perfect compliment to the the freshly made sauerkraut and corned beef. In my top five favorites from around the country... I'm scheming on how I can get back to Yelm for another.
Super nice people and service, the food selection was amazing and if you like Reubens like I do, you're in for a special treat!!!
If I could give more stars I would. Five does not make it for this place. We came from Oak harbor toeathere and it was very well worth it. Find this shop and get here what ever your drive you'll thank me . this IS the best.
