I revisited The Wild Artichoke for my mother's birthday this year, just like last year. And once again, it was fantastic! The restaurant's charming details and inviting ambiance immediately caught my eye. The chef's unique touch and heartfelt dedication were still evident in every dish. The flavors were exquisite, showcasing a perfect blend of local ingredients with creative twists. The service was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had a memorable dining experience.

What do you get when you cross a labor of love for the culinary arts with a former Japanese Animator? You get visual masterpieces and palate-pleasing dishes inspired and created by Chef Andrew. The Wild Artichoke is a true hidden gem, nestled in a small inconspicuous strip mall, and in my personal opinion, one of Yorba Linda’s best kept secrets. I’ve been here with my wife twice so far for lunch. The restaurant is small so I strongly recommend making reservations. This very unique fusion eatery is just as much of an experience as it is a restaurant. Each dish is carefully prepared with its own combination of various ingredients, bringing out highlighted unexpected flavors. Portions are not oversized, but rather perfectly-sized to be able to enjoy one of their exquisite appetizers and delectable desserts. Think fine-dining cuisine at fair prices and in a casual atmosphere where the Chef will stop by the table and always greet you with a smile. We can’t wait to enjoy our next meal at The Wild Artichoke.

Immerse yourself in the exquisite decor, indulge in the artful food presentations, and be pampered by their stellar staff! You may even get a chance for Chef Andrew to stop by your table. Dive into the culinary adventure with their delightful appetizers! 🦀 Maryland Crab Cake, a signature hot starter, boasts fresh lump snow crab. It captures the essence of true Maryland style! 🦐 The Grilled Scallop In The Shell is a symphony of flavors from the Coquilles St. Jacques en pesto, lemon butter and prosciutto! Chef Andrew's creations are pure magic – they have the most flavorful and succulent Prime Bone-In Beef Short Rib, which is cold smoked, 48 hr sous vide then seared in wagyu tallow. Love the galbi au jus! Don’t miss out on the tantalizing Cioppino dish! Every dish is a masterpiece! The heavenly Fondant Au Chocolat & Baies and Croffles, topped with vanilla ice cream are the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. 🍫🧇🍓🍨 Share the joy, share the flavors – it's an experience you won't forget! Fresh food, well balanced taste, reasonably priced. I tried mostly all the appetizers and they were all delish. Can't wait to get back there to try them all. Burgers were great. Oysters and abalone fresh. Salad and crab cakes tasty. Beef ribs tender. Beef tartare highly recommended. Authentic Ratatouille (as of I would know though). Croquette waffle dessert, killer.

The food was exquisite! I ordered the croquet monsieur. I gotta say the chef has an innate instinct for what ingredients are couple best together. Unfortunately, I don’t believe the location and atmosphere does the chef justice. I’m glad they are in Yorba Linda but this chef definitely deserves world known recognition! Someone famous needs to help this guy get out there! The food and service was spectacular! I’ll definitely be going back soon!

I’ve dined at Wild Artichoke after the new owner/chef took over the restaurant. It’s a nice cozy space and the food is excellent! I’ve tried their brunch, lunch and dinner menu and my favorite dishes are the uni pasta, short ribs, shrimp macarons, Japanese style omelette, blueberry pancakes, crab cakes Benedict, shrimp grits, all their salads, handmade pastas and their bottomless mimosas! I love how their savory dishes have a touch of East Asian flare and helped that the chef explained how he prepares each dish. I’ve held a party of 10 for brunch on a Saturday and everyone gave the chef 5 stars ⭐️!! You need to book a table and try the dishes I recommend! Hidden gem in Yorba Linda and I see this place getting busy very fast! So go now before everyone finds out!

A hidden gem for you to enjoy yummy creative fusion (French/Italian/Asian) food prep & cooked with lots of care! My husband and I had their Shrimp Macaroon appetizer, Little Gem Wedge salad, Uni Squid Ink Fettucine Pasta, and Puttanesca e Arrabbiata with Pappardelle (red sauce pasta with meat balls). We love every item! Since I was not that hungry the night we went, I took pasta we had home, and amazingly, it still tasted very good the next day. Their pasta is handmade in their kitchen, so it still taste delicious the next day. Definitely want to go back and try other dishes. 4/6/2023 Got to go again at the end of March with 2 of my girlfriends. Some of the dishes we tried were French Onion Soup, Lobster pasta, Endive salad, Steak Frites…..we were surprised at the delicacies and different layers of the pleasant flavors of each dishes, so enjoyable and delighted! The service was professional and friendly. We were able to talk to the owner/chef Andy who shared the different intricate steps of prepping n cooking his food. It made us appreciative even more of the yummy food there!!! Thank you, the new ownership of the Wild Artichoke at Yorba Linda. Keep up the fantastic works!

The 88 layers of lasagna is really good. Crispy on the outside and soft rich sauce layers on the inside. Flavor is a little heavy but overall is on spot, will be good to have a glass of red. Will visit again

My husband and I live across the place and wanted to check out The Wild Artichoke under new ownership. Parking was easy and parked right in front of the restaurant as we arrived at 6:00 PM. The waitress Jo seated us at a two person table but we asked for a bigger table and she sat us at the corner table by the window. It was a better area than the original. Initially I ordered clam chowder, however, the soup available was asparagus soup and so I gave it a try. I also order the Squid Ink Uni Pasta while my husband ordered the Bonde In Short Rib. To our surprise, the asparagus soup was delicious. It was topped with bacon, croutons and Parmesan flakes. Chef Andy brought out our plates. The uni was exquisite. I love uni so can’t go wrong. It had a kick of spice in it. The beef was perfection. Fall off the bone and flavorful. Everything was wonderful! My husband and I were very content. Great quality of food. Fresh and delicious. Service by Jo and Chef Andy was superb. We will definitely be back. Lastly, we got apple pie for dessert and it was tasty!!!
